Do you think the lithium is causing your anxiety?
I did not think that it was useful for depression....
Now I don't know

Default lithium increases anxiety

Today I was watching the clock:
Three to four hours after taking the lithium, I had had anxiety in my chest.
My head feels off too and I am very distracted from my computer work.

=-=-=-
I cannot deal with this anymore.

Tomorrow I will reduce the Lithium from two capsules to one and possibly
do that for a few days.

I will email pdoc when I get around to it.

I could not sleep last night: the anxiety was a problem even with sleep meds.
Also I felt hot and uncomfortable even after turning the a/c down.

Then I was awakened by the garbage truck.

I think I slept two or three rough hours. I have to be at work all day.

I'm sorry you are still having side effects, and you're still having trouble sleeping

I hope that you are somehow able to make it through work with that big sleep deficit, and that your pdoc can come up with something to help you cope with the anxiety side effect. Obviously just treating it at night with sleep meds is not solving the problem

I did not take the lithium Wed because I normally take it when I get out of bed
and I was in a rush to get to work.

=-=-

I was sooooooooo sleepy Wednesday night that I fell unintentionally fell asleep for about an hour or so watching t.v.

Hubby reminded me that I have a meeting tomorrow/Thursday.
I have to set the alarm for 9:00. I hope I can sleep tonight and
thus be o.k. tomorrow.

No. Being on those various tricyclics was awful.

I might have mentioned them to current pdoc. She was not interested.
