Hi,
'Just a thought. TMJ can cause headaches although I don't know if they would cause something as intense as what you describe. Still, ask the dentist anyway. M. |
Nikko
For one thing they could do some massage therapy on the neck and head areas. Also the tens machine and the other machine is used sometimes for these things. Also there was something else that was used to get my neck to finally release that is used on migraines, I'm going to have to think on this a while to give you that name. But they all helped me. The tens machine still helps the tension in my neck and I have read that there are certain positions that it can be set to use it for migraines. Donna |
Dear Nikko,
Getting the doc to send you to physical therapy is a great idea. Mari |
I have a tens and it doesn't help me with migraines unfortunately. Mine are either sinus, or used to be because of a wisdom tooth I had up in my sinus which has since erupted and is moving into my top jaw. I would get wicked migraines from it when it was up in my sinus. Mine are usually related to sinuses and I snort cold water to cool them off, then let my head drop forward so the water drains and boy is it ever hot when it drips out!
Then I will breathe in my nose in front of one of the fans here, that helps alot. I hope the topamax helps you Nikko, hang in there it will get better, I hope you feel better soon. :) |
