WOW, that is long! Even the short version is long! I'm sorry I couldn't read it.
The only thing I know is that when I was young, my mother fed our cats wet food and the litter box smell was ungodly, so I said I would never do it… My husband has picked up some fancy brand cans a few times and the results were the same. Rocky threw up after eating it once, and it was so gross I almost threw up myself. My husband's not the one who has to clean the boxes, or the puke, so I put my foot down, and it's banned from the house. |

My much-loved cat Susie died a few days ago as a 20+ y.o. Her mate Spike died last year as a 19+ y.o.
I fed them both on dry food which I got from the vet (not cheap but probably more reliable than the el cheapo stuff from a supermarket), combined with fresh chicken, fish and beef.

i am so sorry. i think the longer you have them the worse it gets. I didn't understand how you made the mix. one of my cats will eat people food and certain types of wet food
