I forgot to tell you this:
My last client of the day was Lois. She is a very active and vibrant 87 year old. I tried to fix her up with another client of mine who is a widower too, just 18 months though so he was not ready. She was so disappointed. She doesn't drive at night and wants a friend to do things with so badly.
Jeff has a gig coming up. He plays with the sky liners a big band 20 piece jazz band that they play all of the oldies 40's music, and there is a singer too. I have been a few times in the past but not in a couple of years now. They have big swing dances every other month. I have been wanting to go but can't find any one to go with me. So I just decided to invite Lois to go with me and that I would drive.
She was thrilled. It will be fun. I will still see if any of my other friends want to go. They have said that they want to but that has not worked out in the past, so at least Lois and I will go.
I know that this was impulsive but a nice thing to do.

Well I went to my old grocery store and bought a stuffed pork roast. IT has msg and other artificial ingredients in it....but I have used this in the past and saved money making a couple of meals with one roast. I added organic peppers (I could not use the canned green beans though)and coconut milk and used evil cream of mushroom soup. Why must I think it is evil????? I put it in the crock pot and it will cook all day.
I need to un brain wash myself.

I swear it is a sickness.....

got up early could not get back to sleep after a bathroom break at 5 ;30am.
made some coffee. Need to take a shower, have coconut oil in my hair to ensure that happening, that trick works well.
Am going with jeff to speak with his retirement folks. He has not had a meeting with them in 10 years, doesn't know how they are performing.
The meeting is at 8;30am so I have plenty of time to shower and dress etc.

Bizi, I really feel for you in trying to find meds which work for you.

As far as Geodon is concerned, 160 mg/day is well outside the normal range (up to 80 mg/day) when used as an adjunct to lithium or Valproate (Geodon Dosage Guide - Drugs.com).

It seems that monotherapy with Lamictal can be as high as 400 mg/day but no improvement is seen at this dose compared to 200 mg/day (Lamictal Dosage Guide - Drugs.com).

Sorry if all of that is a bit technical.

As far as changing pdocs is concerned, if you think that your current one is not listening to you, rather than just reaching for the prescription pad, that is surely worth thinking about.

Geodon 80mg twice daily is with in the norm look again.
They have even used higher doses but I am not sure that I want to do that. I would be willing to go up to 400mg of lamictal.
I think if I can stop drinking that will help immensely.
Jeff and I started talking about maybe getting into a patio home.
Just started. Fun to think about. too much property to take care of and the house is 47 years old and we have not had any repairs.
It is a solid home but I am ready to move.

I think what Kiwi was trying to say is that if you switched to Lithium or Depakote as your primary mood stabilizer, your current dose of Geodon would be much higher than what would normally be prescribed if you stayed on it as an adjunct therapy.

There are a lot of different ways to go as far as meds. Things are a little bit different because we are BPI. Whatever your primary mood stabilizer is, or is going to be, it has to have teeth.

down to 153, have not seen that in a long time. so am happy about that. made it thru day 2 of AF last night. Am taking a different way home so as to not drive by whole foods to stop for an adult beverage!
Has worked 2 days now!

For dinner last night We had chicken with indian sauce and steamed asparagus,
half an avocado and a cup of mangos and pineapple(NON-ORGANIC!)
It was healthy and tasty. I love the simmering sauces so easy for a couple of bucks. $5.25 for each meal. Not bad.

Dinner last night was half a small thin crusted pizza. Whole wheat crust, spicy pizza sauce, sun dried tomatoes, mozerella cheese, italian sausage and bits of chicken, roasted onions and garlic, mushrooms and jalepenos. yummy! did not get the extra cheese nor the pesto drizzle that add calories. It was very good.
And we had a coupon. so jeff had a pizza too,(usually we just split one.) so 2 pizzas and bottle water came out to $14 so not bad for eating out. and we have left overs, another meal for me to eat before we go to whole foods for trivia tonight.

I work tomorrow, last month I saw 7 people in one day, I usually see only 4. But this is at an assisted living place wonder how many I will have tomorrow, I will call and see. It was the most money I had ever made in one day.
I look forward to it, I have mcdonalds food there as I can't find anywhere else to eat near by. I order a grilled chicken patty, a milk and an oatmeal! My guilty pleasure! full of sugar.

I think those two meals both sounded tasty and were very reasonably priced. Ordering pizza, or take out in general, can get very expensive fast here.
