They can make adjustments for you.

Are you able to sleep? If you are not sleeping, that info can be important to them.

Bobby,

Did you mean the oxy the surgeon prescribed isn't working, or that Tylenol and Advil won't work?

If oxy is not working for your pain at this point, then I'm sorry I misunderstood, and you need to call your surgeon as Jo*mar has suggested, and mention that you can't sleep as Mari said if that is the case (because that's very important).

But I would call if your pain doesn't start improving anyway. You want to make sure that you are healing properly and nothing's wrong. Once it's time to take the bandages off or they fall off on their own, being able to take a look at the surgical site will give you more evidence of how things are coming along.

Do you have a follow up with your surgeon? If so, when?

I think you should call and tell them your pain is not being controlled.

I'm so glad to hear that. Your comfort is so important

I think there was some confusion about whether or not your prescription pain meds were working or not when the subject of over the counter meds like Tylenol and Advil came up. They're obviously not enough to treat your pain at this point.

I'm glad you will be seeing your surgeon in a month. He will always be there if you need him sooner though
