I have no idea how you must be feeling right now, Bobby. Everything that has happened must be so overwhelming

The depression and agitation/irritability is most likely is a combination of your bipolar disorder and the effects of the stroke, but you have to get it treated the good old fashioned way by taking the first step and making an appointment with your pdoc when you're ready. He will help as able to help you as he has been in the past, and he will take the stroke into consideration

I think reaching out to the neurologist about rehab is an excellent idea. I'd say by doing that, you'd be doing a lot for yourself

I'm glad that you'll be working to get the rent freeze taken care of, too. One less worry in a sea of them

I'm glad you did that Bobby. Maybe you can also ask her about your depression, agitation, and insomnia as well…

I'm so sorry that you were disappointed by your pdoc. I know you've been very happy with him in the past. I hope you will consider getting a new one, or giving him another chance sometime in the near future. I'm going to back off now, and not mention it again for a while now, as I know I can be a real pain in the *** about these kind of things, but I have to try because I love you and want you to feel better

Bobby,
My aunt had a similar situation like yours; the mini stroke. She then had the surgery you did. This was some years ago; it definitely helped to prevent further strokes; especially from the side you had the surgery. She was never bothered by it again. My aunt was form California. She sent me pictures of her neck after her surgery healed. She wore the scar like a medal. She was proud what she had accomplished. You should be too.

Good going Bobby; glad you are starting to accomplish the little things; that a start.
