You are right, she could be a carrier and infect your kitties...I would stay away from that kitty.

abby had a mild case and didn't infect the kitties...snowball had a severe case and didn't infect the kitties. their immune systems are fine and i asked if she were active

If the cat is sick, I wouldn't adopt her. I don't want her to break your heart if she gets sick. BF

i would first find out if she has an active case of something. I can't risk exposing my healthy kitty cats to anything. I Once had the most precious kitty cat named snowball. He was my treasure. He had the oldest soul. He had the worse case of feline herpes. I cannot describe how much I loved him. When Hammy was dying he would rub up against him to try to make him feel better.
after Morgy died snowy would go to the terrace window for a month looking for him. He never went to the window before and after a month he stopped going.He died suddenly at ten. bobby |
