I am sorry bobby for upsetting you.
I hate the fact that I reminded you of your mother. I don't want to control you. I just thought another cat would stress you out even more than you have been with the 2 you already have, health wise, getting along...etc. I hope they let you have another kitty..... bizi

okay. my mother was really something else and planted all sorts of fears into my head. sometimes she almost made me a cripple because i was so sensitive and couldn;t let them roll off my back. I forgot about that. it was a huge dynamic in my life. It brought it up with the cat references. already i am nervous and scared.

I'm sorry that the conversation about the cats triggered old feelings about your mother. It's really not good timing, not that any time would be good to relive feelings like those
 It must have been hard growing up with a mother who made you fearful like that. I wish that you had an easier childhood. You have so many scars
