We have one Kmart a ways a way, but we lost our local ones a long time ago, too. Sears closed many in the first years after they bought them out. I do really feel badly that the layaway will not be there for the families who depend on it. So many people struggle… I'm glad that your family won't be effected.

I'm glad that Derrick had a good time bowling. It's nice that you share all of these events with him.

I hope that Will has a good birthday. 10 is a good age :)

I have returned from a great meeting. In what used to be my worst
Special education Cooperative. I've attended a couple meetings after
the new Director. Its been lots better.

I am now having the worst cases in what used to be my best area.
So after about 13 years, its gotten progressively worst with the new
Director. Who was the assistant under the old one.

We will see how my cases turn out. Hoping I can change this.

donna, what does being your worst cases mean. what makes them bad?

Yes, but honestly only because the special education district wasn't doing the right things. Now with their new director things are better.

My other much bigger district for me. Seems to have forgotten how to do what the kids need. Not that I wont be reminding them. They just seem to not be doing things right.

I'm hoping you can change things for the better, too. I'm glad things seem a little bit better now.

You have a lot of experience, and I have no doubt that you are great at your job, so they should listen to you.

My aunt has been a special education teacher for about 35 years, and is constantly frustrated that some of her students don't get the services they need. She also gets very upset with some of the parents.

Yep, getting frustrated with Parents is nationwide. Some just don't care
as much. Or think they need to come to the meetings.

getting people to agree with each other.

Donna,

You do the work of a miracle maker by
getting various people to agree on a course of action and its
implementation in order to help your student.

Well not sure what I'm going to do. Have to figure out how I'm getting
places next week. My cars brakes are headed out. My husband has been babying and putting water into his van for weeks. This week he has attempted to fix it three times I think.

My van isn't reliable, and its at the mechanics trying to be fixed. It seems
like things come in three's any more for me. So I hope the 2nd one this
time is all.

I had a mammogram today, and I have to have a breast biopsy later in the month. I really can't seem to get a break on these things. I had a feeling
I was not getting through this one. But life will keep happening.

I have calcium pockets or what ever again. Its were the cancer was last time.
