I hadn't seen that Mari.
I hope they do a larger study. It sounds like EPO has the potential to help a lot of people. Right now there is really nothing out there to help with the cognitive issues that accompany mental illness. Very interesting articles. Thank you |

Thanks for that Mari - very interesting.
One thing which struck me is that at least some of the subjects in the study might have been anaemic (maybe as a side-effect of their psych meds, maybe for some other reason). Because EPO enhances red blood cell production this could have led to the improved cognitive function. However, definitely worth investigating further I think.
