Arrow talk at dentist office about her depression & GENES

I have been with my dentist for 8 years.
We are comfortable together.
I saw her to talk about a bite guard.

We ended up talking politics and then about her depression and what she
wanted to share about her MTHFR gene mutation.

My understanding is the that MTHFR gene mutation/s cause the body not to
process folic acid (B vitamins) and thus could affect bipolar. This would mean that it affects families ( I believe.)

A friend on another forum has this gene mutation. Thank you for the info… different from what I've read in the past, and very interesting.

It has to be Metafolin.
Methylfolate and Health Information | MTHFR Gene Info

L-Methylfolate, Methylfolate, 5-MTHF, L-5-MTHF. Why many variations?
