last night i ate a pound of hamburger. I had eggs before.then i felt full. I have worried about a check being cashed and today i saw it was cashed. during my workout on the bicycle my legs and the rest of be started getting tired. by the time i got to the leg lifts it was awful. I don't think they were cramps...by the time I got to the senior center i could hardly walk. after a hour there of sitting i felt better but still so tired. I thought i was supposed to get stronger. the time before i showed more weakness.'at least i had fun playing toss with abby. bananas aren't supposed to be good with diabetes

You may have pushed it too far on the bike to begin your workout. If you can feel your legs starting to get tired, it's probably time to stop. You want to leave enough energy left in the tank to do the rest of your exercises. But even if you're not getting that feeling, you may want to let the PT know what happened, and try starting out with less time on the bike next time. There may be days when you can't do as much, or can't to everything because of fatigue, and that's okay. Don't push yourself too hard :hug::hug:
I'm glad that they cashed your check and you don't have to worry about that anymore. I hate paying by check. I always try to see if there's a pay online or by phone option because I don't like worrying about whether or not my accounts are settled. Some companies are still in the dark ages though. I love General Tso's chicken, too. |
do you think something is wrong. It was going so well.

The initial weakness in your leg was because of the stroke, but you were improving with PT, so I don't think anything new is wrong. You have been experiencing general fatigue from the stroke, but your leg can get easily fatigued, too. I think you are just overworking it.
I think that it's important to talk to your PT about your fatigue. PTs are usually very understanding about these things and can make adjustments. I think you can continue to improve with PT, but at a pace that is right for you. Pushing it too far can be a bad thing and usually doesn't help. |
will do. thanks.I can't wait to speak to the neurologist. I am afraid it is going to last forever.
