It seems that I have high blood pressure, and now I'm on medication for it for the first time.
It's probably due to the Seroquel, and other medications. My aging process probably has something to due with it. I'm not in shape. My knees hurt when I get active. I'm sorry for not reading many other threads at this time. My reading, and OCD, and learning disorders whatever they are hinders my reading, and turns it into anxiety. It's not that I'm not interested. It's the disorders. BF PS Bobbi. I hope that you are feeling better. I'm so sorry for your hardships. |

I'm sorry that time is catching up to you a little bit BF and you are having to deal with some challenges
I hope that the BP med helps. It's not always easy for us to keep up reading and posting. I'm sorry that you have barriers that prevent you from doing it. It's best to avoid things that trigger anxiety when we can |

Blood pressure going up is just part of some of our lifes. I've been
on this medicine for a few years. And last year it was my husband that went on. Really scared him to change his diet. But it really isn't that much what your eating as he has learned. Except as with him. He ate salt like it was a meal. Which wasn't good anyway. He has cut down on that. And its helping. Tried telling me I needed to. Hee hee, reminded him I don't like salt and don't usually use it. Donna |

The nurse called me this morning, and said that my blood tests have come in.
She said everything is alright, but that my cholesterol is high, and that I need to get on a low cholesterol diet. I have been on a diet for a couple of months. Now I am worried about my health even more, not to mention my mental health issues, and future. BF |

I have to monitor my blood pressure at home because my doctor is charging me a arm and a leg every time I go in for a check up. I got one online from a company I never heard of Vive Health. So far so good with it I've had a few of these before so we will see how it holds up but I'm just happy it does not cost me $100 plus just to go in to get my vitals checked!!

Good looking out BF
Welcome to NT Braingrain In my experience, and to my knowledge, the most reliable at home automatic blood pressure monitors are made by Omron. You can get a basic model at a pharmacy, Walmart, etc or online for about $40. Avoid wrist monitors made by any company… they are not reliably accurate. |
