Dear Mari,

From what you've just described, and all the information you've given to us about hypnagogic hallucinations and dreamlets, trying to avoid falling asleep sounds like a very natural reaction to me- subconscious or not. I'm so sorry that you went so long not knowing what was wrong. That must have been extremely difficult

The episode you had last night sounds scary. It must be so very hard to block these things out, even though you know what's going on. I'm so sorry you have to go through this ****

I hope that having the episode last night doesn't make sleeping even more difficult now, and you are able to keep getting some sleep

Default Busipirone hcl 5 mg 1/2 to 5 times a day as needed

I emailed pdoc about the Viibryd side effects, told her I would stop taking it, and asked her to send in a script
for Busipirone -- one of two drugs in the Viibryd.
A friend of mine made that suggestion.

Hubby picked it up at the pharmacy for me.

During the day, I will take a small dose to test it for a few days and then increase.

Mari,

I think getting the script for Buspar was an excellent idea. I'm optimistic it will help you, and wish you good luck with it

Thursday I took one pill in three pieces throughout the day: 5 mgs

Friday night I took one whole pill with the night meds: 5 mgs

Three hours later I awoke and after a while became anxious.
I took lunesta, some Buspar (forgot to write down the amount).

I am wide awake, feeling anxious, and somewhat anxious.

I will take some Klonopin after I post.

The good news I suppose is that I feel somewhat o.k. -- mostly anxious and frustrated and stomach is bothering me.

I really hope you find something/mix of meds that helps you.
You are brave going thru this trial period.

I'm glad that you feel "somewhat okay." I think that's really good news.

Since the Buspar can be split in thirds, you should be more easily able to experiment with it, and the rest of your meds, to see what works for you
