Hi,


The ulcer--thing went away for a few days (three days) and then came back
with a vengeance. My little protocol did not work today.

One of the peppermint teas I found online came today and caused very short paresthesia -- weird.
-=-=-=

Mdoc had prescribed Dicyclomine 10 mgs up to 3 times a day but I did not need it and am always concerned about side effects.
'Also, of course worried that the symptoms could be something other than an ulcer-thing.

I think I will open up one of the 10 mgs capsules and take a half dose.
Most of the internet comments were about the side effect of sleepiness -- so I can take it now near bed time but still awake to pay attention.

I'm so glad that the bananas are helping

You have me thinking about buying myself some bananas and making banana bread with the ones I can eat fast enough.

I bought some bananas too. My stomach has been bothering me and there isn't much I feel like eating, I would go for mashed potatoes but they are starch. I have been eating butter-weird

I went grocery shopping and forgot the bananas! I guess it's okay cuz I forgot to look up my Grandma's recipe and didn't know what other ingredients to shop for either.

My mother used to eat butter, too. So I don't think it's so weird.
Mashed cauliflower is really good. You can try that vs. the mashed potatoes. I like the texture of it. Using the frozen stuff doesn't make a big difference.

Default Visit with pdoc -- Tumeric

She seems disappointed that I am not better.

Also that there does not seem to be anything I like.
She pointed out perhaps I like "reading" . . . . maybe I have a book in my
hand every time I see her.

She has mentioned that she likes to take care of her plants.
She doesn't seem to like to cook -- said something about making
an elaborate dinner and it not being worth it.

She mentioned that one of her patients is being helped with
Tumeric. I bought some at Whole Foods on the way home.

Also told me to 1) exercise, 2) sleep more, 3) see therapist
But am so so so Tired -- not exactly sure what she said even
though she said it a few times.

Tumeric is good with rice (and I know you like rice). I have made a variation of Spanish Rice with it. I couldn't find my recipe, but here is one from the net:

I don't want to sound like a know it all but the turmeric that we take has a much better absorption rate if it has black pepper in it. I get mine from amazon and it is called "doctor recommended" Turmeric curcumin. I will try to post the link for anyone interested.
