I don't blame you for being freaked out by the drains… you will feel them there, and will have to see them when you empty them (less often as time goes by) or change dressings, but there will be drain sponges and dressings over them, you won't see them most of the time
 I'm so sorry you have to go through this

I'm hoping that if they will do the double I can maybe spend an extra day at
the hospital. I usually spend way more time than is thought. I live far enough out I'm not looking forward to having infections and having to go back. But would if necessary. Harmony's mom Kortni is going to come over and help Dale clean house. And she has some experience with drains from another person. And has offered to come to the hospital and get the lesson's again on this. So that helps me a lot. Waiting on word back as to whether I need to return to doctor for thought on Double or if he will just say yes or no. Donna

I'm glad that Kortni has some experience with the drains and is willing to help you and Dale out
Would you prefer to just get a phone call from the doctor's office to okay the double, or would you like to go in so you can ask some more questions? |

May 9th will be my surgery. He agreed to a bi-lateral Mastectomy. So I'm really happy about that. I really got worried it would come back on other side. So I'm really pleased. I will have to cancel my cancer doctor appointment the next week. But Im not sure they will even need to see me again. But its just not possible for sure that week. I'm in a pretty good place, now to get some camisoles the are bigger to get over they button down things I bought or zipper a couple. I also bought a tablet that I can use instead of my laptop because of weight of the things. I'll keep you updated as well as I can till then. Pre surgery labs I'm guessing next Wednesday. And Derrick's case meeting. Donna
