Default Belsomra for sleep

Pdoc gave me samples of Belsomra. She said that I probably would
not take it (she knows me now) but explained how it works: apparently it
deactivates the awake part of our brain.

(My mdoc wanted to give me some at our last appt. I said "no".)

Reading about the likelihood of possible substantial daytime sleepiness, and the even low potential for patients to experience the inability to speak or move while taking it concerns me. Maybe taking it in a 5 or 10mg dose vs. the higher 20mg dose mitigates those side effects, but still…

I tried to find user reviews online, but I couldn't come up with anything worthwhile in a cursory search on google.
