Could not sleep so am up at 5am on to my second cup of coffee.
I see dr. orazio this morning my pdoc. She will want me off of klonipin I am sure of this. I am going to ask for restoril. I have never tried that. I don't want to take another antipsychotic if I can avoid that due to the increased risk of heart arrythmias, neurological changes that could be permanent, high blood sugars, gaining more weight. bizi

You can try the melatonin if you want. It is a safer and more natural option, but I don't think it will work since you are having a hard time now using Klonopin, and sometimes 25mg of Seroquel.
If you want to try an OTC... I looked up drug interactions between Abilify, Lamictal, and Tylenol's Simply Sleep (there's no acetaminophen in it) and the only warnings were about alcohol. I've used it in the past and it helped. NyQuil makes a sleep aid called ZzzQuil that helped as well, but I didn't check for potential interactions. Of course there are others... You must be very frustrated by now

I think the active ingredient is just benadryl. so I could try taking that again.
So I will suggest that. I had 2 beers early in the evening. So I don't think it was that that would not let me sleep. bizi

Either I am still having geodon withdrawls...it may be more of a tranquilizer than abilify. Abilify may not be right for me....

Geodon and Abilify may be sedating to some, they can have a calming effect, but they are not meant to be tranquilizers.
I doubt that you are going through Geodon withdrawl at this point. You were dealing with insomnia before discontinuing it. The Abilify could be causing the insomnia and you may still be hypo
