they check with ultrasound to see if any arteries are clogged. they would have caught my caratoid artery if I had had that done. I think my doctor should have had me tested since I had high cholesterol

I had my cardiologist run an ultrasound on my carotid. Fortunately it was good

I took my mom to do that, 149.00 travelling health scan/assessment..
We were not very impressed - they rush you thru to each station, a different person does each test..then goodbye... report will be mailed... they make sure to get the money before any testing.. And the mailed results were a whole lot of nothing..they make it sound like you get a detailed report... Just our thoughts after doing it..

i thought the results would be easy to read to see if there was a blockage or near blockage. they spent about 1/2 hour to do my neck after the surgery.
I guess fifteen minutes on each side. |

That was a while ago Bobby. Maybe you should call the office of the doctor who ordered the test to get the result.
I think sometimes you have to be your own advocate to get some of that testing ordered by your own doctor. I'm sure that there are guidelines set forth now with insurance companies |
