i spoke with a few ladies my age and older. they said they don 't want to get out of the bed but they force themselves to and take walks. I was shocked. I thought it was just me. I wonder how I will do with the stationary bike.

There's a lady in our neighborhood. She must be in her late 70's or perhaps even in her 80's. She walks a long route around town every day no matter the weather unless it is absolutely intolerable. (We have hard winters where I live.)
 She had knee surgery a year or so ago. She was laid up for a short while I guess. But pretty soon she was right back out there walking! She has a cane. She carries it by hooking the handle around her neck so she has it with her in case she needs it. But I never see her actually use it. I sometimes wonder why she doesn't get a treadmill or something. But I presume she just prefers to walk outdoors. She's amazing!

I am glad that you have robert to help you with stuff like that.
my father turned 79 this year and walks(doesn't ride a cart) the golf course 6 miles 3-4 times a week. He is amazing! bizi

He did not start golf again until his 70's. I am lazy.
need to find something that I find enjoyable. I don't like to sweat becasue then I would have to shower so I avoid that. bizi

My grandmother was still driving, golfing, and doing her own gardening at 88! She also did a ton of baking.

i am severely depressed. my accountant didn't get my check I sent almost two weeks ago. the motor vehicles didn't get not get my check. I don't know if it is my hand writing or what. My stationary bike's pedal doesn't fit. I might have to throw it out. I have a stomach ache. I don't want to get out of bed and I should go to the bank. I have a cough. I am just miserable. I want to go back to bed
