try to focus on trusting in God-He is in control. try to just think of Him when you start panicking. Itis hard but it might be comforting. I don't think congress would pass anything so obscene- they would never be voted in again.

When my anxiety is really high I have to try my best to distract myself any way I can and remove myself from any situation/place that can aggravate it.

I'm glad that you find comfort in the psalms. Are there other things you can do to distract yourself? Is your cat any more comforting than she has been in the past? Would she interact with you more if you bought a toy you could play with her with or a laser pointer?

Hugs to you, BF

Just remember you've been through this before and you got through it. You will this time too.

I seem to be having a relapse of fear, and panic. I've had this before at different times in my life. I'm sort of frozen in fear right now. My security is being threatened, and it's not fair.

It's very possible that the senate will not pass a removal of the American "safety net". If they do, there are going to be a lot of hurting, and dying Americans. BF

BF;
with all those ailments you have already on record/documentation in the past by very notable individuals; you will Not loose those benefits. You will not any way be affected.

I understand it is easier said than done; but please try to not dwell on what is not going to happen to you. You are putting too many thoughts into
"what if".

Good idea.
I have two magnets on my frig;

one says
"God is never more than a prayer away.
May He guide you
safely day by day".

the other...
"Before you go to sleep,
Give your problems to God.
He is up all night anyway".

I believe He often sends people in our lives to be there the for one another. You are so right about faith and trust.
