that company had some nerve to stick me in a motel room that was terrible. humid as hell.....the staff there was very rude & treating me like a child. saying if i wasnt in my room by 9pm theyd lock me out. and toss out my property the next morning. not to mention the bed was damp from the humidity. bedsheets were damp, the blanket was damp and pillow was damp. and the mattress was cheap and flimsy and sitting on a folding bedframe(saw the coiled springs). the ac unit was leaking condensation inside the room and there were wet towels underneath it and sitting on wood flooring. and it smelled like moldy laundry thats sat there for weeks

How awful!
I went into a new client of mine, home today and it reeked of mold.
How can people live like that?

Gethprime, that hotel room sounds disgusting, and I've never heard of a motel treating guests like that. Did you get any sleep?
I hope that you won't be depending on your company to make any reservations for you in the future

I think I got another good nights sleep. Ate too much last night at dinner:
Delicious fish, can't even remember what the sides were, but it was very very good!
we are going to see the movie Dunkurt....or something like that.
A WW2 movie.
I am still watching the movie with my girl friend "Anne of green gables"
The next time I see her will probably be able to finish the movie.
It was 3 1/2 hours long!

Jeff has been walking every morning all summer am so proud of him. He said it was cooler this morning. It has been so hot and humid lately.

I would like to go to a blue grass festival the end of september.
Jerry douglas, bela fleck, and many others on Friday the 29th.

It is being held in North carolina...a long trip to make for just a few days. I will ask my girlfriend doris if she wants to go. (we talked about doing a road trip in October) I will have to rearrange my schedule of clients. She wants to see her mother in mississippi too.
We will see if it happens.

This evening, I booked tickets to the international blue grass music association festival in Raleigh, North Carolina. We leave September 27th.
Traveling from LA, we will spend the night just south of atlanta Georgia. Where we spend the night at the hampton inn,
then head to North Carolina, all told it is a 15 hour drive.
We will spend 2 nights there at a double tree, for the festival then head to mississippi to visit my friends mother for a few days. then head home. Her mother is in her 90's.
The blue grass festival, we are just going for one day, Friday there will be many players/performers. Jerry douglas, bela fleck to name a couple.
This will be the first time that I take a trip with out jeff for some place fun with just my girlfriend Doris.
I am really looking forward to the trip!

We talked to a dealer about a new toyota prius. It was nice but not nice enough of a deal to buy a new one. I will pay off the old honda fit ...have only $4,700 left to pay off the car.

We just bought a new bed and will have the expense of cutting down a tree in our back yard in a week or so.
We really can't afford a new car right now.
Maybe next year.
Car payment would have been $388 a month.
yikes!
So am proud of myself for not impulsively buying that car.!!!!
I texted my therapist tonight that I did not buy the car
and she was proud of me.
