I can move my right leg pretty freely but my left side is still numb a bit. But I can move it a little. My *** is still like a lead weight

415pm local. Almost vomited. Still nauseous a bit

I hope you are not feeling pain now. you went through major surgery. How long will you have to be in the hospital?

My surgery was 12 hrs sgo. It's almost 830pm here in Cebu. Had my first **** n bowel movement post-op today so my systems running ok. Was expecting to be diarrhea because before I took rocephin I had the runs for almost 3 days. Just had my 2nd tramadol IV injection. I hope nothing serious happens. Still having sleep jerks. Maybe it's because of the bed quality..

glad that they are taking good care of you. never heard of sleep jerks. it said ". More often than not, hypnic jerks are nothing to worry about."must be startling.
you have been through so much!

you were one of the lucky ones "Rocephin Side Effects. ... In the case of Rocephin, some of the more common problems reported include swelling, redness, pain, or soreness at the injection site. While not frequent, the medication has been known to cause a loss of appetite, vomiting, headache, diarrhea or nausea"

So far they have treated me well. Though the food however is local. I wouldnt touch it lol. Ill just order out from Mcdonalds or the local chicken joint called Jollibee. Their spicy chicken makes popeyes look tame :P So far Im dealing with a slight dull pain around the incision sight. Thanks to the pain meds its been that way.

Yeah the first time I took was in my asscheek because it was the closest muscular part when I had the UTI. Of course i got diarhea afterwards. But this time I got it through an IV . So far not diarrhea. In case I do get it I got the bedside toilet next to me

I'm glad that you got through the surgery okay and that they are giving you enough med for pain control. Some incisional pain is normal, even with adequate pain med post op.

Best wishes for a full recovery soon

Really appreciate the get wells from the ppl here. Its a good thing my cousin is a nurse at the hospital im at. She lives here surprisingly with her boyfriend. Turns out a cousin of her boyfriend had the same orchiectomy though for a different reason. But his was simple mine was radical (complete removal) Costs were alot less too than what the other doctor/hospital we went to wanted. Thats including hospital stay.

I'm taking 2 antiinflammatories. Tramadol (ultram) and another. . But my back pain isn't from the surgery. It's from having the lay down on my back for nearly 4 to 5 hours

I use arnica which is homeopathic. I had a stroke last year and now am falling down a lot. it helps. I am always in the bed if not on the computer or trying to get myself to do p.t. exercises. Are you allowed to move around? or is it too soon?
