2nd week for me, a bit frustrating as I can't seem to catch on to directions when they are not clear, others were confused too.
I will still continue to go. At least it is a practice in learning some patience.... The guy who last week talked about religion was not there, only half the group showed up. bizi

I'm guessing the person giving the directions, or the person who wrote them didn't know how to. Hopefully it will get easier. Make sure on the comments on how to improve for next time, you write this in. Donna

My pdoc agreed to prescribe naltrexone for me.
I had liver enzymes drawn today then start at 25mg. Recommended dose is 50mg. I will have to have labs drawn every month for a while to make sure it is not effecting my liver. I leave on vacation next wednesday for 9 days. Should be fun. bizi

That is a good one, Bizi I'm sure many people didn't return for last night's meeting because of the same things that turned you off last week. I'm sure it's can't be easy to set up a new program like that, and to prepare to present it for the first time, but I have to wonder if things may have hit a few more bumps in the road because everything's being done by people with some degree of mental health problems. I like the fact that you are still giving the program the chance. and are viewing the whole thing as an exercise in patience. I know you have been wanting to try taking the Naltrexone for a long time... I'm so happy that your pdoc is wiling to write you the script now!  I really hope it makes a difference for you!

I won't start naltrexone until Oct 6th when I return from vacation. Don't want to start a new medication while away from home.
