When I went to the nail salon the last time there was a lady there in her 40s who was newly diagnosed with MS. The bulk of that conversation was upsetting to me for a lot of reasons, but…
What was really upsetting was that when she mentioned depression, and I said I was bipolar, and it was like a hush went over the room and everyone was suddenly uncomfortable. I still was not embarrassed. I was ****** because they are ignorant. |
