The news has changed today. They have had 24 hours to scramble the outcome of information of what was said yesterday.

Again please forgive me. I'm not myself recently. I don't feel good about anything I see on the news. They have expert talkers on these news channels on TV that confuse the issues, and are talking like they represent everyone. There are speculations, and opinions according to what they want I believe. They don't speak for everyone. It's ruff listening to it. BF:hug::hug::hug:

The Mental Health Parity and addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) became part
of Obama Care which became law in 2010.

Implementation of MHPAEA | SAMHSA - Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration

They were working on the Mental Health Parity, and addiction Equity Act before Obama became president. I remember this. It was so important. I hope that it doesn't end!!! BF:hug::hug::hug:

We were making progress in getting this to be understood by the public. We needed to be accepted. Mental Health help must remain. BF:hug::hug::hug:

When I went to the nail salon the last time there was a lady there in her 40s who was newly diagnosed with MS. The bulk of that conversation was upsetting to me for a lot of reasons, but…

What was really upsetting was that when she mentioned depression, and I said I was bipolar, and it was like a hush went over the room and everyone was suddenly uncomfortable. I still was not embarrassed. I was ****** because they are ignorant.

YEAH,

At work I hear for example that someone has back problems or whatever.

But I cannot mention what is going on with me.

When it is obvious I am having a problem I lie and say any of the following:

stomach ache/head ache/ tired/

Who can we call to plead with to keep the Mental Health Parity, and addiction Equity Act? I'm getting help from them. BF:hug::hug::hug:
