As Donna wisely said, try to work on the depression, then the eating. It think it's harder for people to control overeating when they are depressed
But I'm sorry that it's a problem that is bothering you so much. I avoid weighing myself if I expected my weight was up unless I was dieting hard

I think it really is helping with depression. yesterday was a nightmare with abby. then I figured out when cecilia joined me again to try to lure her in by playing with a toy. it finally worked.cecilia at first gave up. I can;t do it by myself. She is the brightest cat I have had. I also can't move well which makes it impossible to catch her. she has to come to me I put food in the cat carrier.
she went for it but as soon as i tried to close it she made her get away. when i rake her to the vet's i will put the carrier in the bathroom with food and see if i can close the door.
i got on the scale and didn't weigh more but i ordered cookies. I am so hungry

I have a really hard time catching Buddy if he decides to run. He is SO fast and hard to catch, especially because I'm slow, too. So, if I need to clip their nails or put them in their carriers I have to grab him first before he catches on. Rocky and Dottie are fat and move much slower, but if they get under the table in the kitchen I have to wait until they come out.

I would suggest you up her playing to more than just the need for meds times.

She might then get to coming to you more. I realize she is bright and catches
on. But if you pet and try this stuff a little more. You might get lucky enough

It's too bad that Pudge won't play with her. I understand that she is older though. Do you ever use the laser pointer with Abby? It wouldn't take much energy on your part at all.

My 3 are senior citizens, but they play together a lot. Corey uses the laser pointer with them until they realize it's coming from his hand and then they stop playing. It's hard to play with the toys on sticks with them because of competition, so I have to get two going at the same time.

i play so much with abby and yes we play with the lasers. I even have a purple one. She is really spoiled. the last two times were easy ..I withheld the wet food until cecillia was coming over and then i turned off all sound so she could definitely hear me opening the can and then when she went for it I grabbed her. will it work again? I am back to a deep depression. yesterday I listened to too much news on the health care. I think they are monsters. I am 73 so it is unlikely their diabolical sh#t will effect me but we live in such a cruel world. I feel sick from what I ate last night. It was crazy eating the raw meat and two boxes of sandies pecans.
I feel trapped in my apartment. I am terrified that I will keep on spending. I didn't factor in abby's vet bills. I know I am lucky to have alice robert and marcia. stella is going today to europe. she is spending soe time in hostels for 36 dollars a night and then couchsurfing.com where she will stay for free in people's homes. I would have been too scared to do that when I was younger.

Eating raw hamburger isn't a good idea because it's processed and may contain bacteria. Rare is safer, medium rare is even better.

I would stop watching the news if it's upsetting, but you are right in that in your situation, the potential changes are unlikely to effect you

itis the right leg, the non stroke leg. I think it is arthritis. the stroke leg is weak. abbys by nature are filled with energy. since the medicine she is very cautious. My stomach feels better. I know I am playing russian roulette with the raw meat.
yesterday i didn't know if cecilia was coming over or not. it was so frustrating. I became so wired. I was so irritated. she probably won;t come on saturday and maynot come on friday.
