I am careful but to be doubly safe I bought two things just in case. abby is gradually coming back ti the bed but not staying when i try to pet her in most cases

thank you. it is very frustrating. I bought her a lot of treats so I will see what happens. she sleeps with me at night but when I touch her she leaves the bed.

It would hurt my feelings if one of my kitties acted like that
 But it won't last long... It is a good sign that she is coming to the bed and sleeping with you. She wants to be close to you, but is just being cautious. She will get over that soon. |

thanks for the reassurance -she is taking to sleeping on the chair during the day and on the bed at night- the chair is a new place. so far she likes the shrimp treats. I am taking a parasite cleanse. I wonder if that is why I am so exhausted besides the stroke. all i want to do is rest

Cats are interesting.
 We have a newish bolster pillow for our futon, very soft. Hazel just started sleeping on it. We have had it for months! Yesterday. I saw Hattie sleeping on it. Probably because hazel was sleeping on it. Hattie is the Alpha cat. love them! bizi LOL

Cats can sure show there mind of their own.
We have two. One has figured out how to get out in the basement. He just visits around and comes back. But the really weird thing is he comes to our front door and ask by meowing to come back in. He will even sometimes go to the front door when my dog goes to the bath room. The black kitty has been out a few times. When our door just fly's open. But she almost always runs to front door to get back in before we come in door or shut it. When she sees us. Last night about midnight, I went to let my dog out. And saw a black cat at the door. Seems she got out. But it took lots of work to get her to come back in. I had to leave the door open and hid kind of behind it. Donna
