I am sorry that you had to go to the er and have all of that upset....missed your nap, being alone there, feeling frustrated, and waiting...hate the waiting.

 I made the wise decision NOT to do laundry yesterday. I took a shower and decided if that is hard, I had no business doing it. I did go grocery shopping tho. I had a fairly short list, I took my time, took little breaks when and where I could, and was okay. My PCP's RN responded to my message about the CBC being drawn at the ER and asked how I was feeling (the same). She asked if I needed to schedule a follow-up appointment, and I said I already had one. She called me around 4:30pm to tell me my PCP had read everything from urgent care and the ER, and wanted to touch base with me before the weekend to make sure I didn't get worse, and to tell me to go to the ER if I did. Then the RN went over the symptoms of a heart attack with me. So, I assume he thinks my problem is cardiac in nature. The defecography study (gross GI test) in Boston is scheduled for the 29th of this month. Corey will be taking the day off to bring me. It is gross and invasive, but it will be good to have it over and done with so the new specialist will have the results when I see him. He is going to review my medical records, then his office will call me to schedule an appointment with him. Corey will have to blow another personal/vacation day taking me to that appointment, too. I have WAY TOO MUCH going on right now. I'm a F***ING MESS. I would drop PT because of everything going on, but I need it too badly. Pool PT is very slow going, so I think I will be okay, but I suppose we will find out Wednesday at my first session. I bought the Halo Top cookies and cream ice cream and tried it last night. I've decided I just don't like the brand. I would rather have the Breyer's Delight's or even better, full-fat ice cream, which isn't a bad idea because I'm not worried about gaining weight... I have lost all this weight, but haven't even gone to the BR this week

Corey is just gonna have to help and accept it like a man and not give you grief over it.
You do have a lot going on your plate. I am glad to hear that you take breaks when doing your shopping, keep paying attention to your body and your surroundings. many hugs to you today. (((((HUGS))))) love bizi

Guess where I am?
The laundromat with Corey! I wanted to take almost all the dirty laundry so we could do as much as possible, but he refused to take anymore than what I had packed up to take myself + a set of sheets. The laundromat I decided to go to is deserted, so we could have definitely gotten it all done, but beggars can’t be choosers... At least I don’t have to worry about doing it myself for a little while, so I do feel fortunate in that respect, and despite my b****ing, I am grateful for the help. |

The laundromat we went to yesterday was cleaner, cheaper, and had a lot of machines, most of which were newer. I only saw ONE out-of-order sign (everything's broken where I normally go), so it will be my new laundromat.
Corey was irritable, but not nearly as bad as I expected. He folded his jeans himself, which was helpful. It only took us 2 1/2 hrs door to door (including folding). Later, I showed him our butt prints in the mattress and got him to rotate it, too! I thanked him MANY times for helping me... very important because as you know, I struggle to get him to help me with anything. I still had to deal with the socks and undies, put everything away, and put the clean sheets on the bed when we got home... after a long nap, of course. And I took my time doing it. I have 3 appointments this week: Tomorrow: Manicure at 10:30am Wednesday: PT at 11am Thursday: NP from my PCP's office at 9:30am Even under better circumstances, that's a lot for me. I also have 3 appointments next week, including the test in Boston. Even with Corey's help yesterday, I'm crap today. I only have to go buy cigarettes and pick up prescriptions at CVS today, so it will be an easy day, and I will be able to rest up for my busy week. |
