The blood pooling in my legs is probably from venous insufficiency, which by itself is not a big deal, but it’s not a good thing given the fact that I probably already have 2 heart blocks.

I’ve been sitting here waiting for an hour anxiously waiting to be called in- cigarette and coffee free... NOT HAPPY, and falling asleep from the lack of caffeine and nicotine.

Yesterday I rescheduled my manicure appointment and went to the Coach Outlet to straighten out the pocketbook situation, I know I’m ridiculous, and I’m being very impulsive right now. Turns out, they don’t make the bag I bought in the size I like anymore, so I ended up buying an all cross grain aquamarine bag with lots of zipper components and silver hardware... beautiful. Everything is transferred over, and all is right with the world.

Now I’m going to get up and b- about waiting an hour...

Good luck after b ing. I hope it works for you. I remember when I had
mine it didn't work much.

I can't remember how long I had to wait.

Hoping it goes good.

Keep us updated.

Including the wait time, I was at the hospital for over 5 hours.

I don't think my BP or heart rate went up enough after I was injected with the medication that was supposed to simulate exercise, but that may be because I'm so out of shape? I really don't know. I was also supposed to have images taken 1/2 hour after that, but had to wait over an hour instead.

Nobody would tell me anything.

But my PCP posted some results to the patient portal this morning. At rest, my heart is doing just fine, but he didn't have the results of the "nuclear perfusion study" at that time, and that's the part of the test that shows how well blood is pumping to and through my heart when it's stressed after the injection, which is the whole point of the study, right?. I wish he would have waited to post results until he had the full report.

The expectation is that the test will turn out normal tho, and I hope that is the case. I need to catch a break.

Kay
I was told by the technicians that did mine. And I didn't even ask.
That they weren't allowed to tell me any results. I think they
told me that though because I had made the mistake of not having
my inhaler available with me, not in my purse when we were getting
ready to start. I honestly didn't realize they wanted it there with me.

What they really wanted was to have it were they could get ahold of
it. Or to know where it was so they could run and get it because my
asthma is a coughing form. And if I got bad they wanted to have access.
They really stressed that when I did the tilt test if they decided I needed
to it was going to be same area, they wanted it with me. That I was to
have it.

I didn't end up having it. Because when I told them about being scared
of not only heights but some other things, that unless their was something
found on the stress test they would say I should ask for a different version
of this test, which is what I did with the cardiologist. SO when I explained why to her, she agreed they were right. I was so glad they had told me.
Because I was scared to even try when I saw what it did. I'm very scared
of heights and even rollercoasters and other things like that.

I'm hoping its not something that frightens you. Just me.

I had my nails done yesterday, and they came out perfectly... a beautiful (different) shade of red. I had a pedicure, too (it's been over 2 months), but I don't like color Judy chose for my toes this time. I can always take the polish off if it bothers me, but then my toes would be bare cuz I can't paint them myself. I feel like I've been through the ringer lately, so it felt good to do something nice for myself.

I wonder if I will hear back about the rest of the stress test results soon (like today), since my PCP posted the results of the resting portion so quickly... ? My cholesterol is excellent, so I doubt I have any blockages, and I think I probably did okay.

I was given some instructions when the stress test was scheduled that said I had to bring my inhaler. I keep it in my purse (even tho it doesn't help me), so I had it, but nobody asked me for it. I haven't been given any directions for the tilt table test, except I have to fast so I won't have anything to throw up lol.

I've never had that test, so thank you for the heads up, Donna. I don't have a fear of heights or anything, but I doubt it will be fun because I don't think it will take much of anything to make me pass out at this point.
When I was having a lot of vertigo, I did what I think is called the Omni Chair where they strap you in and roll you all around, and I tolerated it well. I ended up being diagnosed with migraine induced vertigo.

I see the cardiologist next Wednesday (the 27th), but the tilt table test is not scheduled until the following day. It's disappointing because I would rather he had as much info as possible by our first appointment.

I normally would be googling the s- out of things like the heart blocks, the stress and tilt table tests, my colorectal problems and potential surgery, and the two surgeons my gastro refers patients to because I usually do better with more information... but I can't handle any/all of it right now because it's just too much for me, and I guess I'm protecting myself.

The purse I bought at the outlet is perfect. It's beautiful, and I can finally find everything I'm looking for! I'm going to send back the bag that was too small today. I found out have to pay for return shipping, so I'm P O ed. I will never buy another handbag or wallet online again.

Kay

I think meeting the Cardio. Might work out to be good before the
tilt test. This way you get an idea how they work too.

You can ask if there is a way to get the results as soon as possible,
or even set up a appt sooner rather than later after the appt.
So you can have some ideas. I would also let them know its really
a big thing for you to know what is going on immediately and its
much better for your health if they can call or give you information
as soon as they get it. When I saw a cardio, I found she was really
good at not only listening but getting me information so I could
rest easy.

Good luck with all your dealing with.

I understand, Kay, about most of the time wanting more information and
sometimes wanting none/less.

We do what works for us depending on the event and where we
are in our head/emotions.

Keep taking care of yourself.
