I'm 37... really don't think I'm having hot flashes, Bizi. I have a complicated medical history. I won't rule it out 100%, but that's not where I would look first. My sister, who is a year older than me, hasn't experienced hot flashes, and I can't remember my mother, who passed away at 46, ever having them, and that's something she would talk about. She thought it was important to pass information like that on to us.

It was miserable out yesterday. It was borderline freezing, started out snowing, then poured all day, and we got over 2 inches of rain. I didn't go out. Today is supposed to get up to 54 degrees, but it will be cloudy and windy. It's a welcome improvement tho.

Since I never went out, I didn't know what to tell to my neuro about my gait, so I didn't end up contacting him. I know I should have contacted him sooner... I will take a walk to the mailbox later this morning and write the note. I have a Tysabri (MS med) infusion tomorrow and he needs to know what's going on before I have it. I hope I'm walking better today.

Last night I fell asleep on the couch again even though I hadn't smoked any MJ... that's 2 nights in a row. I had pretty long naps both days. I'm just so damn tired all the time.

I am almost out of face cream. I buy it on Amazon because it saves me about $20. I finally realized I could just pay for 1-day shipping to save me from 1) going to the mall and 2) paying *full price*
I've spent a ton of money on Amazon lately... all on things we need, but I'm still concerned about my spending. Just because I'm buying things we need doesn't mean I'm not binging. When I want to buy s***, I can always find a justification.

I'm binging on chocolate, too. A ton of it. I'm still holding steady at 144-145lbs. I'm eating a bunch of other CRAP, too. I have no idea why I'm not gaining any weight back. I think if I stopped I would probably lose more weight.

During the week, I usually only have to make Corey dinner because he leaves too early for me to make him breakfast, and he doesn't like to take a packed lunch to work. Since he's been on second shift, I've had to make him breakfast and lunch before he goes, and either have to make him something when he gets home, or have something prepared for him. I hate it. It's a lot of work between the cooking and the dishes...
And I don't know what to make for him aside from garbage food. I have to go out today to buy a couple more things already, even though I went grocery shopping Saturday. Hopefully I can think of other things to buy so I'm not stuck going to the store three times this week.

Before yesterday, I hadn't been out of the apartment since this weekend. When I made my trip to the mailbox yesterday my gait was worse.

I contacted my neuro early and we exchanged notes back and forth on the patient portal. I can't take IV steroids, so I'll probably just end up in PT when things calm down.

I'm not having the Tysabri infusion today because for some reason, I "no longer qualify" for the TOUCH program, which is overseen by the drug manufacturer. Apparently they need to talk to me? This is a blow, since the med is supposed to prevent relapses- like the one I'm having now.

My PCP added on the CBC, so I went to have my blood drawn before going to CVS to pick up some scripts. Going to the grocery store was a pipe dream! I know I need eggs, but I can get those at the corner store. I have to do my weekly grocery shopping soon, so everything else can probably wait until then.

There is NO F***ING WAY I'm doing laundry this week. I don't see how I COULD do it, and I'm not going to risk falling and hurting myself trying.

Thank you ladies

All my blood work was good, with the exception of a high eospinophil count, which is not new. They have been ordering a CBC with diff every 1-3 months since September. My PCP ordered another one for next month. If it comes back abnormal again, I will make an appointment and ask for further testing.
The results of my kidney function tests were almost exactly what they were last time I had blood work done, so I was VERY pleased (and relieved) about that

I went to the corner store yesterday. They were out of eggs, and I forgot to look for coffee. I walked out with beer for Corey, which I HATE buying, and 2 ice cream sundae cups lol. I didn't go to another store, so he only had one egg for breakfast.

Today is lottery day, and I plan on going to the grocery store for a quick trip to grab a few things. Hopefully I don't forget anything this time. I will leave when Corey leaves, so I'm not out too late.

I'm so screwed up because Corey's on second shift... he doesn't leave until around 1pm, and I feel obligated to be here, and be awake, when he's home, but I normally spend much of that time getting my errands done, then around the time I start getting ready for a nap. Then I feel like I have to be awake when he gets home around 11pm. Last night I was up with him after 2am, and I woke up around 7am this morning. God only knows how long I will sleep after I get home from the store...

Kay
You may have to allow yourself a different schedule even just one day of the week when he is on this schedule. Maybe do your usual on Wednesdays.

That way you get a chance to rest during your afternoons. You could also have him help get the laundry to the laundromat with you.

Red face

I agree with donna, since you are making accommodations for him then he should help you more during the day with chores.

My first husband worked third shift while we we married and it accommodated him mostly fine.

He really hated second shift-- i'm not sure if he was ever on it --maybe even the idea of it was antithetical to him.
Certainly he considered 1st and 3rd shift more liveable for some reason.

He felt third shift gave him more options about going out in the afternoon
to a movie or the grocery store and such.

I'm thinking even if he helps you load it into your car, if maybe he is going same way you are. He could go to laundromat unload the load for you.
Go on to work. That would be half the work for you. Then you could
do the laundry and load it back in the car. Leave it in the vehicle and
he take it out the next morning if necessary.

That way its easier on you.

Make a list of grocery things you need as you go along.
IS the only way I can think to accomodate how to help with the
him needing things to eat at breakfast and lunch. Make him help you
figure this out. He is the one that is eating it.
