I can hardly believe it's been two years... it's gone by so fast!
I could never imagine a life for myself without alcohol, so I'm very proud of myself for being able to sustain my sobriety for this long. I had a lot of good reasons to stop, but I have to give a lot of credit to better mental health care... I would never have been able to stop with my BP as out of control as it was in the past. Cravings are really rare for me, but I have to admit that with all the anxiety over the move-in date, I was having them, but at the same time, I knew I would not take a drink. |

Thank you to all! :group hug:
I almost forgot about it because I was so preoccupied with moving-related things… I sent my brother, sister, and aunt texts around 9pm (a bit late), but it was important to me (for a lot of reasons) to let them know I've been able to sustain my sobriety. |

OhKay, writing as somebody who is in remission from alcohol abuse, two years is a tremendous achievement.

That's wonderful Kay. I was able to stop drinking years ago also. Congrats to us both!!! BF

Kay, how wonderful you must feel, knowing you have committed to an act and then sustaining is no small feat. I'm doing the happy dance for you right now, well shuffle in my case, but well done.
