Well I am done with PT for a couple weeks. My therapist goes on
vacation next week. So we are going to give it a trial and see
how I do. I'm okay with this.

I feel i'm getting lots better and am probably ready to stop. I can
probably get up the best I'm going to and we have been working
really well on my quads too.

i need to reach out to my sister's and see how my mom is. I just
haven't had time. And the next few days are going to be busy.
I pick Derrick up for a few days before we go to Terre Haute for
special Olympics on Friday through Sunday. And the next couple
days I still have work things to do.

Just a normal summer couple days.

Yes, And I'm doing some lunges like and walk lunges. Not sure thats
the name. But its what it looks like it.

I'm tired tonight. Derrick and I ate at O'Charles for Lunch
and went to shop. We went to Toy's r us that is going out of business.
and a couple other places.

I have another busy day tomorrow. I also worked with a client today.

Dont get me wrong if they are lunges they are still with holding on to
something or someone. I am not balanced enough to not do that.

But I'm working with it. I'm using my walker at home with them now.

I'm irritated they turned my son Dan down for his medicaid because
I didn't do the personal phone call. They didn't tell me when, or
call the day of the supposed. Or leave a message. And when you
miss a call they usually send you a letter telling you. nope,
they just sent a denial letter 20 days later. Nothing so an appeal
is going in. But they say I have to start all over.

Not a happy camper today.

Unfortunately, that's what dealing with bureaucracy is like. They expect you to know everything, but they tell you nothing, and there are insufficient resources to find things out for yourself.

I'm so sorry you have to go through the whole process again. I know that Dan needs the insurance badly

The thing is the whole process is the same as what I do for Derrick.

So I should have gotten a notice about the call.
A message that they called, and I needed to re-schedule the call.
A letter telling me that I missed the call and to re-schedule.

Got none of these.

But got the denial. Its not a thing that they can't do this. But its
that the girl went right into that we needed to start the process over.
I was told in the letter I could appeal. She pretty much told me
I couldn't. I really gave it to her.



Drum Roll the good news, I guess of the two! I would take the
first to get the second call I got today.
THanks for praying for his med check to be given earlier.

I got a call from the center his med check is at. They have a cancellation
for this afternoon at 3:30 and he got it. So I'm taking him.
Even though so far he and his dad neither one are answering.

But I think his dad might have forgotten his phone at home. And I'm guessing
he went back to sleep. But he hasn't got anything to drive.
So it should be okay.
They both have messages. So he will go.

I'm so happy he has a prescriber now!!!
It is a process, but I hope that he/she can get him stabilized on meds soon...

And records/a letter from this pdoc can only help with the insurance process.
