I do not understand it either.

I agree with Bizi about asking to be put on a call out list.

You may also want to ask your PCP about seeing a different specialist, or
asking him to call the guy you are seeing now to try to get you in sooner.

It is not right for you to have to wait this long just to be seen when you have such serious kidney problems :hug::hug:

You are in my thoughts and prayers, friend

My bol told my niece that he's going to have me put into the social services housing. In other words, he's abandoning me some time in the future. I don't know when. I hope that I don't fall between the cracks. Does this happen to other people, or is it only me.

I got the bad news about my kidneys last Tuesday, then I got this news today.

Does the social system have housing for people who need there help anymore?

I don't know what to think. My mind goes blank when I think about it. Then I get scared, and then heart broken. I'm broken again. BF:(

Can you believe it. I received some terrible news last week, and I got this bad news today.

This is my home. What's he thinking. He told me this through my niece. I replied to my niece, and they are all probably angry with me on top of everything else. I'm very upset. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Well I can't believe they are doing this to you.
I can only imagine what you are going through.....
I am so sorry that this is happening to you. :(
Will you confront your brother in law?

BF,

They might not be angry with you.

The BOL is a weird miserable guy.

yesterday in my bible class it said everything works out for the good. if it happens and with your condition you would probably be put in a special housing unit that is much better than where you live and you won't be isolated and will make friends. Your brother-in-law will probably go to hell.
take care

Brokenfriend, sorry that I am a bit late here.

I am very worried that you might not be able to see a kidney specialist until January - that is two months away.

I am not meaning to scare you but kidney failure is progressive. For your own health you need to see a specialist ASAP. Can your doctor help with this?

With care and concern.

Friend,

I think you need to see your social worker ASAP regarding the housing situation so you can get some information about the housing options out there. The more information you have, the less you will worry...

Like Kiwi, I am very worried about the length of time between nephrologist appointments. It seems to me that you should be receiving some kind of treatment NOW.
I think it's a good idea to book an appointment with your PCP. Maybe he can explain your condition better, and explain why you are not receiving any treatment at this time. He may not even be aware of the situation.

Please don't worry about hurting anyone else's feelings right now... you have a right to be angry about being sick, and a right to be angry at your brother in law. I think what he is doing is just cruel.
The news you got is a terrible blow at the worst time. My heart really goes out to you :hug::hug:
