She is my new case manager. My other case manager either quit, or was fired, and I didn't have a case manager for months.

She seems to be very alert, and intelligent. She's very good with forms. She wants to go to the next visit with me to the kidney specialist. The kidney specialist is a big guy from another country. He was a little rude. I told him that, and he was nicer to me.

I've repeatedly thanked her. She has kept saying she's just doing her job. She sure has be helpful.

My mechanic is close to being across the street from my support center. So I dropped my car off, explained the problem, and then walked back up that road that wasn't to far, and went to my group therapy meeting. I walked in, and explained my situation to the office manager, and she called my case manager, and she said that she would drive me home. Then I went to the group therapy meeting with my councilor. I prayed allot the night before I got started that Monday afternoon.

If I didn't have Medicaid, I'd be up the creek. I don't know why the politicians attempted to get ride of Medicaid. They are not in the real world with the rest of us.

I've been sharing my concerns about my kidney problems with all of my doctors, nurses, support groups, and face book. BF

can you sue the company and look on the internet for a class action suit? and maybe sue your doctor for postponing your treatment?
there are a lot of lawsuits that are going on where you don't have to pay anything
Nexium & Prilosec Legal Help [Proton Pump Inhibitor Dangers]
that is just one of them- look up lawsuits and ppi

it would be really easy to do and it would pay for medical expenses and a lot more if you and the others won.

I think that there is something like that going on against the pharmaceutical company. They claim that they are safe if the directions are followed. I'm on Medicaid. This type of lawsuit would not help me, but thanks for the thought. BF

Yes. Suffer kidney damage. There is a lansoprazole Lawyer 24 hours a day on the internet. I've taken that over the counter medication for over 5 years usually every night. I'm on Medicaid though. If I sued, I'd loose my Medicaid. Lansoprazole is a generic form of Prevacid.

All of those PPI acid reducers are possibly dangerous. Kidney disease is slow, and irreversible. I had no idea. I knew very little about kidneys. Now I'm one point away from stage V kidney failure. I'm going to end up needing a kidney transplant, or dialysis for the rest of my life. This troubles me deeply. BF

are you sure if you joined a class action suit you would lose your benefits?
who told you that?" You will likely lose your needs-based public assistance benefits for a period of time if you accept a lump sum payment that causes you to exceed the program’s income and resource limits. Likewise, if you give away part of your settlement as a gift or donation, you could also lose your SSI and/or Medicaid benefits for at least a time. Or, the government could seek reimbursement for benefits you’ve received.

Please note that you must report any settlement you receive to your caseworker within 10 days of receiving the funds.\
but you would probably receive a great deal of money."
I would call medicaid and ask them and call one of the law firms and ask how much they think you could get. I think it is worth it
