Default My kidneys

I have been diagnosed with Chronic kidney disease, stage IV (severe). He said that this condition cannot be reversed, and he was talking about kidney transplants, and dialysis. This is very frightening.

He said make sure that I do not take Advil. BF

Brokenfriend, I am sorry to read about your kidney disease.

If a kidney transplant is not an option for you, there are two forms of dialysis. One is haemodialysis, which requires regular hospital visits. The other is
Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) which happens at home.

These options might be worth discussing with your doctor.

My father lived for many years when using CAPD after chronic renal failure.

I can't help but thinking is this really happening to me. Why is this happening? What is this? This isn't in the family inherited type of thing. BF

Friend,

I understand your questions. But perhaps try to take this one day
and one step at a time.

The doctors will run more tests and such so that they can tell you
what they see/think.

I am so sorry that this is happening to you, BF
I can't imagine how you feel

I am so angry that they made you wait so long for an appointment to give you this news

I hope that you can find some comfort in your faith and your bible verses at this time because I'm sure that this news must be very difficult to digest

I will be thinking of you today... you will be in my prayers

yes read the psalms and let them comfort you. My Rabbi said they are good for suffering. Feel your faith and don't ask yourself those questions. God is in control. I just know you will be okay.
