I told her I ate two pies in one day and a lot of little pies in another day from anxiety. I think she tried to scare me which she did. I couldn't get mad this time because I am scared the way I am going. I am now trying to have no carbohydrates..one was pecan and another was pumpkin.

thanks a lot. today was a good day - i had brussel sprouts, a little turkey and I read most of the day, Since the stroke the reading is slower/

Thank you for your posts, Mari.
I don't think that a therapist should be responding to a compulsive behavior like overeating with medical-related scare tactics. A therapist should support, not scare. I think that she could have come up with better input, especially because she knows you have a significant anxiety disorder. It sounds like you ate very well yesterday, Bobby |
