Those are nice meals you have been having.

'Not sure what schwarma is unless it is something similar to a gyro.

Bizi, I have had a lot of dreams about accidental drinking. At first I was a little rattled by them, but now they don't bother me.

I think it's great that you try to join Jeff on his spiritual journey by exploring The Power of Now. It may just not be for you tho.
Maybe meditation and mindlfulness will be more up your alley. Mari has given you some great suggestions that I should explore myself, but I'm too lazy.

I never would have thought about getting a to-go container right away. That was a smart move! :)

How did things go with the foundation guy?

bizi 02-28-2018 08:41 AM

The foundation guy is going to give us estimates by next monday I believe. Nice man.
He explained a lot to me told me that some of the cracks are not due to foundation failure issues.
He said it would take 2 weeks to complete the job because the concrete has to set.
175.2 this am....

For lunch I Ate at a new restaurant called poke geaux. line was to the door but it moved quickly.
hawaiian asian line like chipotle but much better selection. Ahi tuna small amount of sticky rice, and many toppings, it was bowl. Had edamame, pineapple, mandarin oranges, krab salad, and seaweed salad which I love and spicy ginger sauce and ponsu. which is a more flavorful soy sauce. I really enjoyed my meal! and it was very filling!
dinner was spicy andewy sausage and diced tomatoes and veggies, side of cabbage and kale and arugula greens with pumpkin seeds and crunchy quinoa. with a poppy seed dressing, sweet.
very good with 1/2 an avocado. and a la croix to drink. 100 calorie pop corn at 930pm shred with jeff. great snack that lasts a long time.
coming home from work I was really tempted to stop and have a beer. but resisted. 15 days into lent. Af.

Reading your posts always makes me hungry!

For 6 weeks I have been hovering around 172 pounds.
frustrating I keep watching the scale go up and down a few pounds.
I would be so happy to see 169!!!

I have the morning off. I just got off the phone and fixed an error with my website. I use weebly and have had the domain for years. It did not renew automatically, my card expired or something like that and I lost my old domain. so bummed about that. But we were able to get my new one easily this morning. thetravelingfootnurse.com - Home
see if you like it!
So it will automatically renew every 2 years.
When the card expires I will have to call them with the new info, but that isn't until 2021.
I need to change the website info on my car to update the changed web address. That is the only thing I have to change. oh and yelp. I already changed it on facebook, that was easy.

I have had a light week....Hospice called me to say a patient really needed me, I had stopped volunteering because I was so busy before. But I have a light day tomorrow so will see her in the morning out of town.
She has an ingrown toenail. I need to pick up some ambasol in case they don't have any numbing agent. Because her toe hurts, I will try to numb it before I cut the corner of the nail. She is bed bound. I wish she could sit up and soak her feet in epsom salts.

Yesterday, I met with the foundation company, Kevin is a nice guy. He spent over an hour with me, told me that most of the cracks that we see are from settling. the back part of the house is the problem area. We will also have them put in a barrier in the front yard to protect the house foundation from the big oak tree in front to prevent any future problems with that tree.
It is a big job.

I need to get in the shower. I look like a fright.
They are having speckled trout for lunch...yummy.

I just had a "God " thing happen.
I stopped off at a store to pick up a gallon of water. I am seeing this patient tomorrow morning and wanted to pick up some numbing agent. But forgot to do that. Wouldn't you know that they had some oragel at the check out aisle. And then as I was leaving an aide came up to me and said that another patienet/resident needed to see me with a bad toe. I can't see her until monday and called the desk to see if they could soak her foot until I get there on monday. She will get back with me tomorrow for family approval to see her.
That all happened in a matter of minutes of each other.
