Jeff and I made reservations to stay at an airbnb place in new orleans on the 21st. We are a waiting a confirmation from the owner.
That is the day that we sail on the tall ship clipper ship.
I am really looking forward to this short trip.
It is about a 2 1/2 hour drive but we should leave earlier than that because sometimes there are accidents on the bridge thru baton rouge that causes delays. Jeff has a good friend coming in that frday to give a concert and spend the night. Normally they stay up late and drink and play music. His friend knows that we will be leaving around 9am.
Jeff gets motion sickness so I don't think he will be drinking to heavily.
He plans on taking Dramamine before the 1 & 1/2 hour sail. Not sure how many people will be on the boat. Anyway, should be fun, kind of a bucket list sort of thing for me.

The sail on the clipper ship sounds like fun! Do you have anything else planned for the trip? I'm sure that there are fantastic places to eat in New Orleans

Well this is a first.
Today I had an hour to kill before my next client so decided to stop at this bar "fat pats" one block from my clients home to have a beer. They have 2 for 1 beers every day. They are 9-10 oz mugs.
So I started drinking and drank too much and ate a basket of fries and bought the guy next to me an expensive drink because it was his birthday,
and I wanted to talk to him for company.
Right at 4, I called my client and told her that I was ill and needed to cancel our appointment. I was tipsy and did not want to take the chance of cutting her. I safely drove home and went to bed.
woke up when hubby came home and lied said I was sick with a head something or other. Got up and felt better so preceded to make dinner.
Then we picked up a friend and went to a blue grass concert at the university.
Sigh
I see my therapist tomorrow morning...wondering if I will tell her.
many red flags, maybe I am hypo?

It is good to tell the therapist these things. Trust her to handle your concerns.

You have disclosed things to your therapist in the past, and she has reacted positively. It's probably in your best interests to tell her, especially if you think you may be hypo

It was difficult but I went and talked about what happened with Robin. She is non judgemental and I like her for that. I also respect her.WE have been seeing each other about a year and she has such a good memory. It amazes me what she remembers. Especially since I ramble a lot.
I told her that I wanted to try to make more friends, it is hard.
I have called and texted a friend/acquaintance and she is busy with her mom who just had surgery.
WE decided that I was not hypo, just dealing with addictions.

I understand how important it is to have friends, and I know how hard it is to make them. I hope you can build on the relationships you have and are able to find opportunities to make new ones. You are such a wonderful lady
