I'm aware of how much baggage I have, and sometimes I feel like I don't have a lot to offer to off-set that. I doubt many people would want to be friends with me. I'm depressing.

Gosh, I wish we all lived within the same state or closer together. I'd love to be personal friends with you all. Its not so much a friend thing. Its more we have no clue where to go to find friends sometimes.

Sunday:
It is 52 degrees and windy.
And I am going to an outdoor blue grass concert out of town.
Winds will be up to 25 mph. Burr!
I have long underwear and a turtle neck. and winter coat with a scarf and am bringing a camping chair and blanket.
The only thing I can't control is my hot flashes then I will be miserable with all of my clothes that I am wearing.
Not going to think about that.
I am going by myself.
Jeff is going out of town for 2 nights.
After the concert I have been invited to go to a crawfish boil.
Looking forward to that...I think....I will know other people there. I am going to try to make an effort to talk to Katy the hostess, maybe ask her if she would like to do lunch some time. Maybe make a better friendship with her. She is in my phone contacts already so I think she would be open to that.

After the veterans park ceremony and blue grass concert (they played patriotic songs and ones with the louisiana themes).
I enjoyed them. Got teary eyed when the song they sang was
"proud to be an american" I always tear up at that song.

I hate to admit this but I ate at subway before going to The crawfish boil.
I am not that much into crawfish. so I ate the sausage and some collards that they grew in their gardens and corn and potatoes. Yum that is my favorite. They were lovely hosts and I felt somewhat comfortable there by myself.
When I was leaving I asked Katy if she would like to do lunch and she was very agreeable.

I left a bit early due to being cold even though I had long under wear and a turtle neck, sweater and a coat.
I am such a whimp!

I am doing a load of laundry, work uniforms for tomorrrow.

There is a very friendly cat who is a tortoise shell color, so we call her torty. She lives across the street but is very very friendly and talkative.
She spends a lot of time at our house. We never feed her, just give her lots of attention and loving when ever she is there coming or going. I wish our cats were that friendly.

Jeff is gone....he comes back on tuesday, short trip.

Talked with Jeff last night and he told me that torty caught a bird from our feeders. Well that was enough to spray her with water to not be in the back yard at least while jeff is out there. She stalked the birds and hunter them...she continues to do this. poor birdies.
Got up at 815 in time to take a much needed shower.

Hair is still wet and I have a half an hour to finish getting ready. the coffee pot is brewing the coffee.
WE have an electrical problem, 2 outlets are bad we thought it was the microwave. so we bought a new microwave and discovered it was the out let. So we returned the new one and bought a receiver as our old one had been broken for a while now. Jeff will hook it up when he returns. It will be nice to be able to watch dvds on our tv instead of at the computer.
We need to hire an electrician. We need to have some upgrading done to our electrical system anyway. This was part of our refinancing work to be done on the house. No fun and expensive.
Our microwave is on the dining room table. IT is huge!
on to my first cup of coffee.
