Torty is an outside kitty. It will be hard to keep her away from the birds. My mother made 2 of my cats outside cats when I was young, and one of them gave me a present of a dead baby bunny... delivered it right onto my bare feet!

I went to a presentation tonight on making money with real estate sales, flipping homes, foreclosure and rental property.
Also about creating regenerating income to supplement our income.
So I am trying to think of a business that I can start in my spare time to make money.
The presentation was good and of course they wanted me to come to their 3 day workshop for $2K, ouch. They were very convincing, money back offer.
It was very very interesting. They have hundreds of companies wanting to invest their money in your endeavors.
What can I do to make more money that is not so physically draining on my body.

I have been stopping by the bar(5 blocks from my house) for a few drinks again with out jeff knowing about it. I even ate a basket of fries....I am supposed to be dieting.
I have gained so much weight it is not funny.
I was able to not drink and diet and lost 15 pounds until this last month. I regained at least 5 pounds.

I have time this morning to tidy up a bit as we are having company tonight for 2 nights. Jeffs friend Cain is coming to give a concert on friday. WE have the opera hansel and gretal to night at 7. Then the concert friday night, then new orleans, for the tall ships clipper ship boat ride sat afternoon then bed and breakfast home sunday. It should be fun.

yesterday we had a handy man and my friend niko fix 2 electrical outlets that were bad. A power strip fried my cuisinart food processor, the only remnant of my first marriage. It was a wedding gift from my mom.
We will have him change out the electrical boxes adding copper to the outlets that are currently aluminum. All of the outlets and light switches have to be changed. I will take a long time to get done.
Door should be in soon.

The program you were talking about sounds too good to be true to me, Bizi. I wasn't there for the presentation, so I don't have any information before me, but it sounds like a scam to me. Your interest in this kind of endeavor seems to have come out of left field, and therefore kinda smacks of hypomania.

I'm sorry that you are struggling with your drinking and weight again. The sneaking behavior is part of addiction. I think it comes from guilt and fear of judgement (and fear of other repercussions for some people)

I think it says a lot that you recognize you have a problem, which is really hard for most people to do, and that you are willing to talk candidly about it

You have had a lot of ups and downs in the past, and have been successful at quitting for long periods of time. I think you will be able to right your ship again when you are ready. I think that this last AF stretch was different (in a good way) because you were thinking about your drinking differently, which is a big step in the right direction

I had a discussion about finding work to supplement my income and not have it tasking on my body like my current job. I would like to find an internet job and work from home, I could spend about 3 hours in the evenings and mornings too. I could work when ever I was home.
maybe I could do mystery shopping again?
review medical records?
I am not a very good writer and have a terrible memory.
What do you all think?
I talked to my dad today and he suggested doing something with the elderly, find another niche of services, maybe driving them to their appointments, filling up pill boxes but that would tie me down. I take about 5 weeks vacation a year so who would do that while I was gone???
I am thinking about starting to sell products, that is a whole different ball of wax.
