Everyone that has done an low carb diet.

Have any of you ever tried cooking with coconut flour.
I'm asking because Derrick needs to cook with a different
kind of flour. And they say this one is less carbs. It
wouldn't hurt me either.

Bizi
I'm so impressed, you started on an THursday and so far
got a Saturday in with out drinking.

I have never cooked with coconut flour. What about almond flour? I have an unopened bag of it in my cupboard.
I never bake so am intimidated to try a recipe.
I should try to bake with it tomorrow

while jeff is gone to play for a veterans concert...
I went last year, don't feel like going this year.
Maybe I will change my mind tomorrow:confused:

Sitting on the computer with my second cup of tea.

Lunch was a bowl of chicken and sausge gumbo, no bread or rice. And a bowl of cabbage and a mustard remulade dressing to make a kind of coleslaw. It was my only veggie today.

For dinner tonight I had the toppings of a pizza and did not eat the crust.
Spicy tomato sauce, freshly grated mozerella cheese, sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, pepperoni and sausage and jalepino peppers with a basil drizzle at the end it was delicious. 2 small squares of dark chocolate.
(I guess that tomatoes are a veggie and so are mushrooms.)

Well I took measurements last night and really was depressed.
Things are bad. Not only has the scale gone up the inches put on have gone up, up, and up.
And I am determined to wear the old wedding dress costume next year.

I wish you the best of luck on your diet/dry November Bizi! You sound determined, so I think you will do very well! :):):)

Your diet sounds similar to the South Beach diet, where even high carb veggies are a no-no. I lost A LOT of weight on it- fast. The second time around, I kept it off.

Thanks kay for your support.
((((HUGS))))

I ate eggs cheese, veggies(sauteed onions, peppers, mushrooms, and peppers), and sausage in a scram for breakfast today at the diner we go to on sunday mornings and I forgot: a side of steamed brocolli. yummy!
caffeine headache is getting better with my second cup of coffee.
I wonder if it could be my body in detox? no alcohol for 4th day when I was drinking daily for months? I promise I won't count days on line unless some one asks me specifically.
((((HUGS)))) to all who need them. https://sparkpeo.hs.llnwd.net/e1/ass...icons/e220.gif

It doesn't bother me that you count the days.

I think it is fine if it helps you.

I took a shower and washed my hair!!!!!!
Forgot how many days it had been.
geesh!
weighed in at 181.3.
So am happy that the numbers are coming down.
I know that all that beer I was drinking bloated me up. So this is water weight that I am losing.

I still like the numbers going down.
I hope that my stating my weight doesn't trigger anyone.

Weight loss is weight loss! It counts! :)

You could definitely be having difficulties to a degree stopping cold turkey after drinking daily for a long time depending on how much you were drinking

I really don't think that tracking your weight loss will trigger anyone. I think that we will all be proud of and happy for you as you start to lose more weight, which I am sure you will :)
