My addictions are real.
I admit I am an alcoholic. This took a long time to admit to myself and and some of my close family members. I have an internet addiction. I spend hours on here and other forums, face book, email, etc. have neglected my yard which is in shambles. I walked into the back yard, had not been and discovered what it looked like. It is a dust bowl. all of the grass is dead. We will hire someone to till it up and put down dirt and sod and then we will water the shiet out of it. I use to love working in the yard but got very lazy and resentful that my husband did not help so stopped doing yard work. I believe that the extra zyprexa has opened my eyes to my addictions. Have been more thoughtful. I have neglected my responsibilities .....I have had bouts of hypomania. Now to just prioritize what needs to get done on the house, first thing is getting the foundation fixed. The new mailbox is nice. so maybe today we can come up with a list of things that we would like to do. We are finalizing the closing of our new line of credit to do the repairs/remodeling. It will be cheaper to remodel than buy a new house. have a great day! bizi

I have been reflecting a lot about my life and my mistakes. I think our bipolar really interferes with our functioning big time and gets us into holes that we spend our life trying to get out of but then get into new ones. It ain't easy.
It is actually herculean. You have to start thinking what you have accomplished. I am always think what I have f@#ked up at and never what I have done positively. I always think of the disasters I have come so close to. I don't think I am copping out. You have to be kinder to yourself and think of all the things you have done when you are functioning.You have to and pat yourself on the back. fondly bobby |

I remember some of these when we lived in arizona. they even painted green grass on! 1.33 mile on the tred mill at planet fitness and 10mins on the hydo bed. brunch: 3 scrambled eggs with a side of spinach and a side of brocolli. Dinner: ate too much at texas road house, hubby and I split a big Ribeye steak, he had more than I, half a baked potato with butter and sour cream. 2 of those wonderful rolls...sigh each had a house salad with ceasar dressing. I won't weigh myself tomorrow. Remained AF so it was a win for the day! bizi

Sometimes Corey and I will play cribbage together. It's a good way to spend 1:1 time together... and it's free. I know it may sound silly, but sometimes we play Monopoly, too. We should do those things more often.
I'm so proud of you for all the good work you have been doing. You have been taking much better care of yourself in general. It takes a lot of courage to take a look at oneself and admit to ones problems. You are seeking treatment for episodes, which is something you weren't doing in the past, and you have been working very hard to diet and make plans to have more AF days  I hope you and Jeff do make that list. I think it will be helpful, and will give you some direction, so you will not feel so much pressure from too many things all at once

I need to ask hubby to play cards with me, black jack/21.I like to play eucure but he doesn't.
apple for breakfast lunch:veggie quiche, collards and squash dinner: half a 10inch supreme pizza. lots of water today!  bizi I bought some non alcoholic ginger beer(sweetened with stevia) from whole foods tonight, and some black berry sparking water same sweetener!
