Picked up 5 meds from the pharmacy. Yeah I got them all on the same day for refills!!!!!!It is the small things that make me happy.

Was going to go to the gym to walk on the tred mill but instead hubby and I raked leaves.
11 of them: (30 gallon type containers)!
It took several hours so that is my exercise for today.
Maybe I will just go for the hydro bed massage as my back is sore!!
I sweat and it has been a long time since i sweat with physical activity.
It felt good to get something done.

I'm sure you burned a lot of calories raking those leaves. I'm glad that it gave you a sense of accomplishment, too.

I forced myself out of bed this morning, very achy...I could have slept in longer as I don't have any clients until 1pm. My hamstring at a bit tight but over all I feel pretty good.
It is a new monday.

Drinking a strong brewed coffee. I bought espresso beans this last time and it is strong but that is what I like.
hubby only drinks about 2/3 of a cup. I will drink 2-3 cups.
I am a little stiff this morning from raking leaves.
170.7 this morning, still hoovering this past week.

I don't have any clients this morning so I can lounge around in my jammies if I want to.

The banker just called and said our 2nd mortgage/ line of credit is ready to go. So I will go in and start the closing process. So much for lounging!

The house:
We have lots of things that we want to have done: just put in a new brick mail box. The biggest thing next is fixing the foundation., Which will upset the yard and we need to get a new front door, ours is very old wood and cracked. People have used wood filler etc...it looks terrible. We want to do some painting on the out side of the house which is mostly brick but the shutters are wood and look awful! We should bring our electrical wiring up to code. We have aluminum wiring when we should have cooper.
Want to replace the front window in the living room and a new light fixture for the outside by the front door.

After the foundation work is done in the next couple of weeks we need to add dirt to the back yard and have it tilled and then put down sod. (the grass all died and it is a dust bowl back there) We took down a sickly tree last year that was killing the grass.
Last week I called a nursery and they said that should happen late march.

I think I want a new kitchen. It will have to be built custom because it is so small and we want to utilize all of the spaces. If we went with home depot they have boxed in cabinets so we would lose corner spaces.
There are some cracks in the sheet rock and a couple of inside doors don't shut so the sheet rock will have to be repaired.
We will hire companies to do all of this work.

In his bathroom, Jeff wants new flooring and a new cabinetry. In my bathroom, I think I just want a new sink and mirror. We will hire a contractor to coordinate the work that needs to be done. I have a couple of names to work with.

I definately could get hypo with all of this work that will be happening.
Need to keep my cool and not stress too too much.

WE decided to stay put in the house and make some improvements to our house to be more to our liking. With all of the work that we will have done. It is still cheaper to remodel than buying a new home. Not sure what our budget is.

I went to a refuge recovery meditation group, following a buddist train of thought and helping people rid themselves of addictions.
It was interesting.
We meditated for about 20 minutes.I was not good at this. I could not focus enough on what he was saying. He kept repeating the 4 things we were supposed to be meditating about and I could not remember any of them. My mind wondered the entire time.
even so, I will go back. The book should arrive this week.
