Default people in my life

One long time friend and one close-ish colleague were recently dx'd
with cancer. One had major surgery. The other did not tell me details except
about her new diet.

So I had to see the friend last night and stayed with her for a little while.
She's on percocet or something.
She has family taking turns staying with her. Last night her SIL flew in
from out of town to stay for a week.

It must be hard to handle the cancer dx of two friends. I'm glad that you got to see the friend who needs around the clock care/company now.

I'm very sorry, Mari

Mari

I'm so sorry too. But the best thing honestly for them both.
Is for you to keep seeing them. And just doing what they
seem to want at the time.
