I was taking everything in my signature line before the zyprexa. I had been drinking alot often sneaking etc....and could not control my drinking.
My weight was 186, female. So I had heard that bipolarRN was on zyprexa also and was losing weight. So I asked my pdoc to add 5mg of zyprexa to my meds. She agreed to 2.5mg. My thinking was if I could get more stable than I would be able to control my drinking and lose weight. She was leary of this because she gives young girls 2.5mg of zyprexa who are anorexic to GAIN weight. Almost instantly I have control of my drinking...only drank one time in 58 days. and have lost 15 pounds in 9 weeks. So I feel so much more in control. I am house hunting....feels pressured though. hubby doesn't want to move. We live in a 50 year old house and can't afford to fix it up. So I want a 10 year old house that we can grow old together. I got so angry with him that I threatened to do this on my own. That is what it took inorder for him to get it. I do want to stay married to him...for awhile though I did not want to. This is the impulsive/manipulative side of me. Anyway, we are looking at 3 houses in the neighborhood that I would like to live by my friend, tomorrow, and 2 more after that with a realtor.. bizi

I already feel more stable.
I got mad at jeff...and very angry with him. I was making plans with out him. That was crazy talk. He is a good man and always has been. I do love him bizi

Bizi,
I am have pharmaceuticals in me than blood at this point, and I still rapid cycle- sometimes with mania. It's entirely possible to cycle on while ANY med. The pressured feeling concerning the home buying and the manipulative behavior may be signs of hypomania, but it could also just be that you know what you want and are just aiming to get it. You did have an episode of drinking too tho, so I would be on the look out for other signs you may be hypo. I'm glad that you have been able to sort through your feelings about your relationship with Jeff, and I'm happy that you know you love him
