Keep posting this stuff, it honestly is helping many I'm guessing. I didn't know that banana's had lots of potassium. And I didn't know that about juices either. So I want this stuff to continue. If someone new ask we can all let them now why its being discussed. There is no problem with it. Donna

Okay. I was concerned that people seeing the subject "Kidney Transplant" may not be appropriate for this forum. Thank you for the feedback. I will keep the thread going as long as it's welcome. I might change the title, and write different threads about my kidney issues, and road to wellness in the future, assuming that it isn't some kind of uncommon strange disease. BF

BF, please don't stop posting about your CKD. Having to deal with medical problems effects our mental health, and we want you to be free to discuss whatever you want to, and to be here to support you
I have multiple medical problems, and post about them often. I really need the support... One of my medical issues is CKD stage 3. While my CKD is not as advanced as yours is, things like you have just posted about avoiding/limiting foods high in potassium and phosphorus and eating fresh fruits are very helpful to me. You have also seemed to take things in stride. And I have found you to be a positive example of how to approach my own medical problems Please post anything you want to say. We will listen and support you in all things. You are a loved and valued member of our family
