So they didn't give people who were single transplants who don't have care givers? Do they have a program where you can go after a transplant to recover?

I just don't understand!!! This would all take place around seven years from now. BF

My Nurse Practitioner said that they have something wrong in their files about me. Shes been my NP for around 10 years now.

All of this is very upsetting to me on top of everything else. I'd tell you more, but it's just to upsetting. BF

I only saw them one time. I went to see the social worker, but my niece could not make it, but I did, and then he didn't want to see me. Then he stopped talking. He had a blank, cold look on his face like he just didn't care. I have a bad feeling about that. I'm all upset about this. This created entanglements, and misunderstandings with my niece, and brother in law.

I wish that my dad, and mother, and sister were all around to help, but they have all passed away. Who do I talk to who are close to me. There are no people who are close to me anymore. My best life long friend died around three years ago.

I have all of this bottled up in me. I do not think that the team was fair. If this is the medical system, it needs to be changed.

I hope that my nieces, and brother in law don't abandon me. He's retiring in a year. I will have no place to live. I'll have no place to go. He owns this land that I live on. He implied to my niece that I may be paying rent. I don't have extra money on social security disability. If dialysis happens at the same time, it will shake my world.

If all of that happens at one time it will really shake my world up, and I don't know if I will be able to handle it. From what I heard from my niece, it sounds like he's going to try to abandon me, but my niece told me that I have nothing to worry about. That was about eight months ago. My niece, her husband, children, and my brother in law live in this big house. I sent my niece a message on the forth of July, and never heard back from her.

At the same time I am very tired. Does this give everyone a clearer picture of what I'm going through on top of my mental health issues? My councilor is not helping very much. BF

My other niece who lives out of town sent me a Amazon HD Fire tablet. It's something that I can look at movies with while in dialysis. This gives me some hope that everything will work out. BF

Some of the liver transplant patients never seemed to have family visit them. I don't know if they had caregivers or not. Some patients were sent to rehab after their transplants, but I think that had more to do with their health than anything else, but I'm not sure. The social workers at the hospital were very good, and made sure that the patients got the services they needed.

I'm so glad that you vented about everything weighing on your mind. You have so many worries... way too many worries

I try to focus on the most pressing issue weighing on me, and try to stay in the present, even though that is very hard sometimes, so I (hopefully) don't get overwhelmed.

There are resources out there for affordable housing if your BIL wants you to leave or pay rent you can't afford. Your case manager should be able to help you with that when and IF that happens. You will not be left homeless

I'm so happy that your other niece sent you that tablet. She must have put a lot of thought into it, and wanted you to be comfortable while on dialysis.

I hope that your transplant team gets their s- together. You deserve the best care available
