I don't know. This morning I think I am a little depressed I think I am going outside to get a couple of bagels. My appetite has returned. I don't know what to eat that is nonfattening. I don't feel like chicken. I don't feel like vegetables.
I am afraid I am going to gain back the weight I lost when I wasn't eating.
I am going to bed at 10 as my doctor suggested and then wake up at 12 and then at 3:00

I'm so glad that you decided to make the appointment, Bobby! It sounds like you are getting the care that you need and deserve!

What a difference already! :)

Aside from that, you have been very quiet... how are other things going?

OhKay 04-03-2019 08:20 AM

How about instant or boil in bag rice? They have some microwavable flavored ones, too. Uncle Ben's makes some of those.
Or macaroni and cheese? Frozen or microwavable.
Stouffers makes frozen meatloaf and mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and stuffed peppers, etc. Marie Callendars makes good frozen dinners, too.

Right now, I'm eating a lot of chocolate graham crackers, and am thinking about trying to put peanut butter on them. I eat a lot of instant rice, and have recently tried a new kind of Ramen called Yakisoba that I like a lot.

I have been quiet.I feel sort of withdrawn but not usually depressed. I don't feel good physically. I have two more sessions with the physical therapist. blue emu is helping my back. since I am prediabetic most of the foods you suggested I shouldn't eat. my a1c went up 2. I haven't taken my antidepressant yet so I am depressed. I have been falling asleep close to 10 and waking up at 3 and going back to bed til 5.
love

I will try to think of some things that might tempt you and are more befitting a pre-diabetic

I'm sorry that you are not feeling well physically :hug::hug:
I'm glad that you are getting somewhat more/better sleep.

First Bobby, I am a diabetic. And I have been eating one bagel
a day. Not sure why but for some reason a bagel a day seems
to be the only bread I really need. So its taking care of that
need for me. My husband buys me bagels.

Now for the marie calladalwer dinners, or what ever the spelling.
Yes, they might not be the best. But the pot pies of chicken or
what you like are not a bad food for the diabetic side. You get
the vegatebles and the rest of the stuff. I checked the calories
and other things, It seemed ok. I also eat the lasagna and the spaghetti
ones. I only eat like 2 a week of those though.

I also like the chocolate graham crackers, so what I do is substitute them
for chocolate candy so I can not eat the candy. I have a real sweet
tooth, so for me this is a good thing to do. I only eat like one or two
of these at a time, with peanut butter on them or something else.
But I can't tell you what I've forgotten.

I am working to find new foods to eat.

you are doing something right if your a1c went below 6. I am doing something wrong if my a1c just went up 2 points to 6.2 yesterday i really goofed. I ate a whole sugar free bag of licorice and I really screwed up my stomach. I couldn't sleep last night because of my stomach. I have to look again at suggestions if you are diabetic -
my accountant called and he sent off my taxes. I just have to pay him.

yes bobby those sugar alcohols can give you gas and explosive diarrhea!
I know from experience.
I once ate a whole bag of sugar free chocolates.
awful
I sympathize with you.
