Good to see your post this morning.
glad that you are reading again. Happy for your kitties and it is good to remember our lost fur babies. Harriet still tugs at my heart even years later.

You sound better today, Bobby

I'm so glad that thinking about God, the love of all your animals, and reading is helping you right now :hug::hug:

Are you going to watch the Patriots vs. Kansas City Chiefs AFC playoff game tonight? It's on at 6:40pm

mymorgy 01-20-2019 02:35 PM

cecilia invited me over for the game.thank you.
love
bobby

mymorgy 01-21-2019 04:33 AM

the game was incredible.. at one point cecilia and I both thought we would have heart attacks.

Mari 01-21-2019 05:51 AM

Good to hear that you enjoyed the game.

bizi 01-21-2019 08:45 AM

I am glad that you enjoyed the game. so many people do. There were cheers in my neighborhood when the saints were playing. I am sure there were manyy parties gather to watch the game.
My sisters were so disappointed with both games that they said they did not want to watch the super bowl.
bizi

mymorgy 01-21-2019 08:50 AM

I just watched the patriots game. cecilia invited me over for the super bowl.
I can't get rid of this depression. I have been thinking a lot about God

OhKay 01-21-2019 09:38 AM

I'm so glad you enjoyed the game, Bobby! It was unbelievable! It was one of the best games I've seen in a while.

If your sisters were disappointed in the Pats game, Bizi, they either don't know anything about football, or more likely, they must have been disappointed with the outcome (they Pats won).

I'm sorry you are still so depressed, Bobby :hug::hug:

Is reading helping at all now? Maybe changing authors will help. Have you read any Jane Austen? I think you would like her books.

mymorgy 01-21-2019 12:18 PM

right now I am reading two books but they are not holding my interest. I thought the game was so great! I don't like them that close though even though it was thrilling. wasn't depressed when I was watching it!
I haven't felt like trying jane austen. I read her so many years ago. I had p.t. this morning. it went well. I see her again on wed at 3:30.

Dmom3005 01-21-2019 07:35 PM

So Glad to hear you had PT this morning Bobby.

It sounds like you need to find some tv shows you can get into.

So that it can be another thing you enjoy.

Donna :hug::grouphug:

bizi 01-21-2019 08:44 PM

yes you are right kay, sisters don't like the pats.
I would root for them for you as I don't really watch sports at all. may check out the commercials.

bobby, I like watching the cooking channels.
bizi

Dmom3005 01-21-2019 10:42 PM

I like cooking and hgtv channel.

I don't like the Pats either but mainly because of the Indy game and the
Colts being my favorite team. And the Saints being my second team.

I don't exactly have another favorite team. But I like to watch the
games, I even watch the Pats, but i hate to watch the snowy games.
So that is why. That is one reason I don't care for the San Fransico
games either.

I am so upset now with msnbc which I have watched constantly. You are right. Most things bore me now. I think I am going to listen to more religious things on the internet. I wonder if that is part of growing old.

Dmom3005 01-22-2019 08:45 AM

Bobby

Sorry about that channel, but personally I think it wants to upset
us so its doing its job. Just tell yourself that for one thing.

See also if you can find some other things you like. I can't even
begin to give you ideas. What besides religious would you
maybe like.

Donna :hug::grouphug:

mymorgy 01-22-2019 08:57 AM

reading and listening to music and thinking.reading when I find a book I like stops my depression. lately I have been listening to a lot of Josh Groban.
I turned on Morning Joe but turned it off after 15 minutes. I can't tell you how much time I spent listening to msnbc til 12 0'clock at night!

OhKay 01-22-2019 01:07 PM

Bobby, I think you have lost interest in things that you usually enjoy because you are so depressed. That is a hallmark symptom of depression :hug::hug:

But that doesn't mean that that it is here to stay. It could be transitory, and you may start enjoying some of those things again soon :hug::hug:

When do you see your pdoc? Do you have any interest in taking meds for your depression again?

Maybe you should try a different genre of books to see if something different can hold your interest right now?

I hope you will enjoy watching the Super Bowl with Cecilia
I hate having to wait!!!

Did you ever get anyone on the phone who knows what they're talking about at Prudential and can help you with your investments/annuity?

mymorgy 01-23-2019 07:33 AM

I got great information for the annuity from another agent. the sum is now in the bank.some of the information was different. I belong to bookbub which sends a list of books from kindle. some are free. I get a lot of books from them. I haven't tried mysteries in a long time. I like happy endings. some of the regencies have mysteries in them. I am on an antidepressant which is working a little. My back really bothers me. I lost a little weight and my weight is depressing me. I am now trying an all meat diet. I started yesterday.I also wonder if part of my problem is that I am alone and really don't have a family.
saw my youngest nephew again with his family for about 15 minutes. It is really hard to be by yourself. that probably contributes big time to my depression. I only seem to like the news on tv but that is depressing. I really enjoyed the football game. I might next year follow the chiefs also. the quarterback's arm was so fantastic! Yesterday I had trouble with my printer.
I finally figured it out and was happy.
You are my family!
love you all
bobby

bizi 01-23-2019 08:18 AM

I am glad that you think that your antidepressant may be working a little.
Happy to hear you have your annuity figured out.
Yes we are like family here.

OhKay 01-23-2019 12:09 PM

You are part of my family too, and I really mean that, Bobby :hug::hug:

I'm glad that you got to see your nephew and his family. I'm sorry it was such a short visit tho. That must have been disappointing. Did you enjoy seeing them anyway?

Mysteries are fun to read. Are you aware of any regency books that are also mysteries that you haven't read yet?

I really enjoyed watching the Chief's quarterback (Mahomes) during the AFC Championship game, too. He has a really bright future.
I can't believe we have to wait until Feb. 3rd to watch the Super Bowl!

I'm so glad that you finally got to talk to someone knowledgable to help you with your annuity. That must be a big relief!

I'm so happy that you feel like your new anti-depressant (which one?) is working a little bit for you :hug::hug:

mymorgy 01-23-2019 01:22 PM

thank you so much. that quarterback was really something. I enjoyed the short visit with my nephew. there were a lot of kisses. I don't look for books unless I find an author I really like.I buy them from thriftbooks.com. I have ton of books I still haven't read in my apartment.
I am reading a mystery regency right now as a matter of fact.
My physical therapist is coming at 3:30. I think I better take a walk in the hall. I feel so tired, Just made a cup of coffee.

Dmom3005 01-23-2019 02:38 PM

Hope you felt less tired after the walk in the hall.

Bobby make sure you check to see if the Nephew is going to
come back for that lunch he said he will.

That's good.

Maybe she is a good listener.

mymorgy 01-24-2019 06:42 AM

she is a good listener and she wants me to tell her more. I tell her when it hurts and when it is okay. just rode the bike for 10 minutes!

That’s exactly what you need!
I’m glad she’s s good listener, too.

Great job doing 10 minutes on the bike!!! :)

I’m happy you’re reading a regency mystery now. I really hope you get hooked & enjoy it!

I love that she is a good listener. And that you rode your bike
10 min. I'm so proud of you. It seems you are doing more

I hope you keep enjoying the book.

I rode the bike for 11 minutes and just came in from walking in the hall four times. My right lower side really hurts and I did some wobbling. I did it!

Dmom3005 01-25-2019 05:12 PM

I think your doing great. And I'm not surprised it hurts some.

I think the more you walk the less it will hurt. I think you will
continue to do better each time.

Pudge hasn't eaten this morning. she goes to the food and just stares at it.
I am so worried.

OhKay 01-26-2019 10:39 AM

Wow, Bobby! You did great! You should be proud of yourself! :):):)
I think it's normal to be a little sore after all that activity. I hope you feel better soon

I wouldn't start to worry about Pudge yet. It has just been a couple of hours since she ate. Give her a little more time. Cats are strange :hug::hug:

mymorgy 01-26-2019 04:33 PM

she finally ate a little and then came back for a little more.finally she drank some water. she really scared me. now she is acting normal.

my mother loves the blue emu. She said it is like a miracle. she has not taken any advil when she used to take 3-4 pills 3xday!!!!!
so happy that you suggested this.
A great big thank you once again!!!!
bizi

Dmom3005 01-26-2019 08:54 PM

Bobby

Suggestion for Pudge. Only because I didn't know this till I tried
it for our littlest doggie. He has only three teeth and we just figured
that out. But he loves veggies, and soft foods, and breads.

But we still were giving the hard foods, that he wasn't eating the dog
kind. But he liked the cat littler ones. So I then decided I'd get the
dog soft and wet food. And he was eating some of it. He doesn't eat
much in treats just a few here and there.

But this last couple weeks nothing was helping it seemed, so we were
getting worried, but he would eat sometimes. And was fine, so I just
kept getting him things I knew he liked and kept giving a little here and
there.

Well I got him some of the smallest dog morsels I could find, and he
was eating those. I changed the dry dog food, into a different container,
and added a gravy, because I was afraid he couldn't chew it. He lapped
up the gravy and a little of the food. But he really likes the new container.
So I keep putting food, in this container for him, and jake. And till today
Doby, he went home to Derrick. This really made a difference, I caught him
eating dry food in the other container today, its not much in there. But he
decided he was going to see what was in there.

So now I give a small morsel container in the morning, sometimes on his heater and sometimes in another area. And keep other food in a area
for both dogs. Now I just need to figure out why Jake isn't liking this food.
But he never has really as long as he eats something its okay.

But I found out they eat in splurts so its good. They cats eat in gobbles.
and its gone, so I had to cut theirs way down.

Donna :hug::grouphug:

bizi 01-26-2019 11:37 PM

I thought dogs gobble their food

eating all that you put out while

cats graze on dry cat food thru out the day...
(except for hattie who gorges herself

sometimes on the dry cat food and gets sick from that.)
